Multiple files into 1
Hey guys, sorry but I am very new and inexperienced with all this type of stuff I am completely clueless hope some of you will help me out. I have downloaded around 36 HD mp4 AVC files off y o u t u b e of cutscenes. I just want 1 whole file that will play all these files in order and continously. How would I achieve this without losing any quality (i.e. i could put it in sony vegas and put all the files and render it as 1 video but the quality will be lossed). Any ideas, appreciate the help, in advance!

First of all, just the fact that you got them through youtube means the quality isn't really too good.
Second thing, doing it through vegas could work, but you'd have to recompress at a certain point, which means you'd lose quality.
Best thing would likely be to directly append them all in a .mkv file.
Just get the MVToolnix, then run the MKV Merge GUI once installed. Click 'add', and chose the first, then click 'append' and chose the second, click it again and chose the third, and so on, and so forth. If you accidentally load, for example, the fourth video before the third, use the up and down buttons to properly set the order of the files. You'll need to fix the order for both the audio and the video, in the second box. If you load them in the right order, you won't need to touch them, though.
