Locked out by Preview On Second Monitor

Post by Kitsuner » Sun Apr 18, 2010 10:39 pm

I'm an idiot.

Being the curious guy I am, I moved my Vegas window to my secondary monitor and clicked on Preview On Second Monitor or whatever it's called to see if the preview would show up on my primary monitor. As you might guess, it previewed on my secondary like it's supposed to. Now I can't close the preview window to get back to editing. I've tried pressing escape, alt-enter, closing Vegas, restarting Vegas, opening Vegas through an existing project file, unplugging my other monitor... nothing. I can see the main window when I have other windows highlighted, but as soon as I click back on Vegas, the preview immediately full-screens.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

A search on restoring Vegas defaults returns that pressing ctrl+shift while booting Vegas might return original values.
Although try the following combination to bring down the preview window (ALT+SHIFT+4).

Can't tell if it'll work, though you won't lose anything.
