I just met the real life...
Kagami and Tsukasa.
Today was "bring your daughter to work" day. A co-worker brought his two adopted daughters of Asian origin, who are around 12 years old. They were very interested in my job and wanted to see me make pretty things with the computer, so I showed them photoshop and illustrator. The Kagami one was shy at first, but then always had something to interject, saying how "Yeah well, my dad does that too" and the Tsukasa one would go "Hey, that's mean sis." She kept calling her "sis." Then the Kagami one went off to play with her ipod touch, and the Tsukasa one says "Yeah, she has that thing. I don't like gadgets like that, I accidentally broke mine."
I lol'd.

Good thing they didn't have Konata with them, or you'd probably be in jail by now D:

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

I once walked into one of my classes where four seventh grade girls were reenacting the Lucky Star OP.
Not quite amusing as your American Kagakasa, but still.

Not nearly as win as my last day at Oe Junior High School, where class 1-2 (the entire class!) stood up as a group and did the Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuu utsu dance.Enigma wrote:Win.Kionon wrote:I once walked into one of my classes where four seventh grade girls were reenacting the Lucky Star OP.
In front of my parents, who were visiting at the time.
I wish it hadn't been a surprise gift, because I was like ZOMG DVCAM FUKKIN WHAR. Sadly I will have to make do with my memories.

Re: I just met the real life...
My parents were all like O_O and the Japanese teacher in the room had no idea what was going on, and I was just cracking up laughing. Later, in the teacher's room, I showed the special ending sequence to my parents and the other teacher on my iPhone so they would understand what they saw.
I'm also pretty sure I ran into #amv that day and was like HAY GUYZ GUESS WHAT.
