I am BACK!!!!!!!
2005-09-11 01:43:03
Mwu hah hah! I'm back on tha friggin' internet....I was out so long because I was infected with a goddamn TROJAN and I had to format the hard drive to get rid of it.
On top of that, I permanently erased any ethernet drivers, so I had to get a USB modem, which, fortunately, did not cost a dime.
Anyway, I cobbled together a nice AMV in the meantime...BEFORE I formatted the hard drive, that is. I was going to upload the sucker from a friend's computer...but an unexpected software thingy intervened and I FELT LIKE ANNIHILATING THE PLANET because of it. I mean, when you meticulously plan something in almost technocratic detail and it completely goes Murphy's Law on you at the very last conceivable moment, you would be freaking out too. Today, everything came together swell and the download like has a nice green LOCAL next to it. Which just puts a nice big smile on Azu-kun's face.
I really miss everyone on this site. Well, not EVERYONE, but you guys and chicks know who you are. I swear I won't be such a stranger anymore. I got some ideas in the pipeline, including a Utena AMV that will probably focus on Wakaba.
BTW, the font in the new logo looks like it was in an article making fun of Karate in an issue of Mad Magazine once. What the hell was wrong with the old one!?

Opinions Backlog, part one
2004-11-24 22:21:32
Did 10 opinions today. I don't "swap" opinions because I'm not an AMV maker, but when I watch an AMV I feel sort of compelled to opinionate it, be the video good, bad or in between. Unless of course it's been reviewed to death, like Euphoria or I Wish I Was a Lesbian.
These are the ones opinionated just in case you're curious (listed by filename):
[cleo3930]Makai_Essences
[fyrtenheimer]-Rewind
Insomnia (remastered)
[KinFreon-Grupo_Hanamaru]_Beautiful_Man
DSP - USW - ORG_XVID
-=[RPBP II]=- The Assumption of Innocence
-=The Wasteland=- (ProjeKct 3 - DotT, by Otohiko)
CLR-Fanservice Hoedown-tajjej
[A-F][1].[Zarxrax].Magical.Girls
[A-F] [Zarxrax] MYT3K
I need to learn how to write longer and more comprehensive opinions. :(

In the immortal words of C3P0, "We're doomed."
2004-11-03 18:20:36
Great going Americans. The US economy has tanked, the debt and deficit are at titanic proportions, all predictions about the Iraq War (save for the actual fact of the fall of the Hussein regime) has been falsified, Osama bin Laden is still on the loose. On top of this, the Bush administation's lawyers are industriously working on ways to circumvent the Geneva conventions on torture, the President can lock up anyone he likes as sure as Stalin, and 100,000 Iraqis who did nothing to harm the US are dead.
Plus, Bush doesn't believe the biggest problem on the planet - global warming and the environment - even exists.
The reward for this failure? The mofo gets voted back in. WTF???
White Middle Christian Americans must really really hate gay people. Not to mention blacks. That is, when they're not reading those "Left Behind" novels.
In retrospect, not capturing bin Laden may have been the smartest thing that Bush ever did. Overwise, he would not have been free to make that last minute campaign spot for Bush. Why shouldn't he? Thanks to Bush, Al Qaeda are other terrorists are doing very well in finding willing operatives. It would only be right for him to return the favour.
Oh yeah, Kerry's a real pussy too.

Happy Birthday To Me
2004-10-31 02:22:58
(To see how old I am, go to Demonseals...)
Wow, tonight was a night to remember wasn't it! No sooner does it become Halloween then a nice fun FIGHT develops. I suppose this proves something, but I can't say what it is off the top of my head.
At least I managed to "treasure hunt" a whole whack of .png screenshots in case anything gets deleted...
Oh yeah, yesterday (I mean friday) I went to a Halloween Dance at the JCCC. Anamorphic Productions was there but considering the only good face shot I have of her is of her dressed up as Link with makeup I didn't recognize her until she had left...
...Oh yeah, the guy in Justin Credible's current ava? That's Justin Credible. I didn't realize that till today.
There was a whole lot of hotties there but nothing came of it. >_> Not many people from my anime club except for a trio of high-school girls who seem to show up at every anime related event in Toronto.

Anniversary
2004-08-02 20:20:55
Wow, I've been here for a full year now. How about that.
I'll be handing out some long overdue ops just as soon as I get a new set of headphones.
As the text in my current sig says, on July 31 2004 I participated in World Wide Flush 2004, an experiment in getting everyone on the planet with access to a toilet to flush them all simultaneously. Just to see what it would be like.
However, considering their website got only about 20,000 visitors I kinda doubt it was a rip-roaring success. I can see Lake Ontario from one of my windows and I did not see so much as an anomalous ripple. o_0
