I'm looking more of a classic western depiction of "Death", but other things that can somehow represent death might also be interesting. I do want a certain amount of foreboding, but the amv isn't horror based...I don't mind it being a little creepy, but the amv is geared more towards a reflective view of life with death as the catalyst...and the transition from life into the eternity of the beyond. Or at least that is what I'm trying to go for if that makes any sense x_x

There is a song I really want to make an amv to. It will probably end up being sort of a mash up of different animes, but I'm mostly going for the mood. The thing I'm kind of stuck on is that in the song there is a personification of death, like a Grim Reaper or something...and it's an aspect that I really want to try and incorporate into the AMV if I can. The problem is, I can't think of an anime that has that sort of animated character.
Does anybody know of any anime that has scenes/characters like that?

So excited for ALA tomorrow!!! I have sooo much to do tonight though...like pack...finish the buttons on my cosplay....and clean out my car (also dubbed "The Void") in order to be able to actually fit people in there for the drive.
And talk about cutting it close!! My wig for my cosplay arrived finally today! I was getting really worried there!!!
Have to make sure not to get too crazy this weekend because I need to have some opera chops left for a performance on Sunday and I'm already fighting a cold x_x
Sometimes I think it'd be nice to have a job where having a head cold doesn't totally mess up your work...but I guess that is part of the fun! Epic battle with my immune system begins....NOW!

Kinda feeling frustrated right now.
I really want to expand my editing horizons...to try new effects...especially more advanced masking techniques...(Which after reading dozens of tutorials on the subject realized that they were tutorials for Vegas Pro and that Vegas Movie Studio Platinum can't even do things like that...)
I feel like a lot of the editors I admire like use more complex/professional software and I can't decide if I should upgrade? Or if I am just not using my software to its fullest potential...and I don't really have hundreds of extra dollars to put into an editing program that my computer could probably not handle anyways... Rahh >_<
I hate feeling like a n00b. x_x - I just want to edit already! 2011-12-11 00:56:50 Gahh, I'm soooo in the mood to edit but still trying to pull all the source footage for my new amv >_< Now I remember why multiple source amvs are such a pain. And I only have about 13 sources! I don't know how people make amvs with like 50 different animes, I think I'd go mad from all the prep work. Hopefully I'll be able to start editing by Christmas!
