To think I've been a member for close to 3 years now and I've never posted a journal once.
Anyhoo, new video posted. Trailer parody of V for Vendetta (omgawesomemoviegoseeitrightnow) with Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Makes a good combination, methinks.
I really like this trailer a lot. Ever since I saw the Vendetta trailer online a few months ago, I became really interested in the movie. Once it played in theaters, I saw it twice, in a row I might add, and like I always do in movies, assign my current fave characters to certain roles.
POOF. This trailer.
I found Cloud makes a very good creepy-yet-funny evil-yet-good terrorist, so he takes the role of V. Tifa, being the only female with enough speaking parts to fill the trailer, filled the role Evey.
Kadaj took over a few roles in this trailer. He's the Prime Chancellor Sutler, because Kadaj would make such a damn good dictator; he's Mr. Creedy, another evil dude; and he's the interrogator at the beginning of the trailer.
*spoiler note for Vendetta: yes I know the interrogator in the movie is V. But, really, for the purpose of this trailer, I can't use Cloud. Think about it, people.*
Vincent *wheeblushpretty* had to be in this trailer somehow =P I love him too much. Thankfully, he's got the perfect attitude and appearance to match Finch's dark and brooding voice. Only two speaking lines in the trailer, but it works nicely.
Action synch is fun. Lip synch, not so much, but I really like the result.
Had tons of fun making this trailer, so I hope that everyone enjoys watching it ^^ Constructive criticism is always welcome, just please, nothing hateful~
