Pressures
2004-11-30 17:18:13
Well it looks like Aven is going to live but I still don't know how bad her injuries are or how long she will be in the hospital. This couldn't have happened at a worse time. Everyone is gearing up for finals and I feel adrift. I'm a nervous wreck and whenever I feel good It makes me feel guilty.
I'm operating under three conflicting pressures. Loneliness, from when my longtime girlfreind who I was completly devoted to broke up with me, stress, because I lost all my scholorships and if I don't get good grades I'll have to leave my school, and greif, for my freind and for all that knew him who are trying to cope in a suddenly hostile world.

A Dark Day...
2004-11-28 17:19:08
A friend of mine died last night.
Thomas Alexander died in a car crash on his way back from thanksgiving break. Last year, I watched him propose his hand in marrige to his longstanding girlfriend. His fiancee is now in critical condition.
The worst part is when people start coming back one by one and have to learn that their friend is gone. Just like that, no chances, no hope, just dead.
Anyone who had a bad day today, take a step back and give thanks that those you care about are alive and well.

Seeing other AMV editors
2004-10-14 12:35:15
I've never been much of a con person. So in all the time I've been editing/watching AMV's I don't think I've ever met a fellow editor. (Although there was one person I met and found out later that he had made some videos that were pretty good, still trying to find out if he has an account here.)
Anyways, this weekend I will be back home in Ann Arbor and I will get to meet Kalium, BrsrkEva, and Kai Stromler. Needless to say I'm pretty hyped.
Maybe I can convince Kalium to show my AMV since I didn't get to see it at AWA. :p

Local downloads
2004-10-11 19:50:05
I just noticed that I have downloaded exactly 400 local videos. I wish I had the HDD space to keep them all (well at least most of them.)
Looks like it's time for CD Archiving part 3.
My multi editor project is off to a bit of a rocky start. I've had a lot of really good editors sign up which is a pleasent suprise, but I still have yet to get it really planned out. Hopefully by fall break I'll have a better idea of where to go with this.
