Still working on the ACen entry. I'm glad there was an extension since I near that there would be no way to finish it by the original April 1st deadline. It's just getting a bit harder since I know I have very little to work with in the first place. I think I can pull through fine, though. I guess we'll see...
And the Illini won! It actually looked pretty easy...I mean, Louisville didn't put up too much of a fight. Either way, it all ends on Monday!!! -

Guess this is what it comes down to. I really only have this week to finish the video if I have any hopes of getting it accepted into ACEN. I kinda had to rethink what exactly I wanted out of the current project I'm on...but I think I'll just keep editing the way I am and see where I end up...and test it again through the hours...Anyway, I have the house to myself more or less since everyone is enjoying their spring break. Heh, every day has been my break so I should probably get down to seme work. Resumes don't write themselves.
And it looks like the AMV Newsletter is beginning to take off. It seems like I've been overly jazzed up to participate. I wonder if that's cause I'm amped to be writing again. It certainly would seem that way since what's happened during the days after Christmas. Anyway, I felt bad that I couldn't be there for the first meeting...I would've liked to have met up with everyone to see what their stance on the whole project is. Guess I'll keep thinking about ideas and what not until the forum gets set up. - Whoa... 2005-02-20 00:54:02 In the back of my mind I've always had this idea to use the colorful images in Punch-Drunk Love in a project...I never gave it too much thought because at the time I didn't have any ideas. Today, I find this video by a creator named Machine called, "Drunk With Love". Wow! I guess I don't have to worry about it anymore since somone did it for me (well, not for me exclusively, but you get the point). Anyway, the song he used ('He Needs Me') was another one of my ideas that never surfaced. The video he put together is fucking astounding to me and I encourage anyone who reads this to go watch it immediately. It's that good...like a 4 minute dream sequence beautifully put together.
- Stuff... 2005-02-05 17:49:28 A couple of days ago I was reading StB's journal and how she thought that the second round of VCA nominations seemed useless. I found myself agreeing. And then I saw that my "And Now Ladies and Gentlemen" video was up there for Best Dance O_o. So I guess I have to take it back :D So thanks to anyone who voted for me. It's put me in a substantially better mood since I found out...and even though I doubt I'll make it much farther (of the three videos I did last year, I wouldn't have guessed that one) I think it's still a pretty cool thing to see. Thanks again!
- XP 2005-01-14 11:45:36 I've finally upgraded to Windows XP and while getting the chance to use iTunes and other assorted programs seems great and all, I'm still not sure if it was the best thing to do. Anyway, in a turn of irony that seems all too typical, Premiere no longer functions correctly. Hopefully I can fix this within a few days...the only thing was that I had started my REM project track and now I might have to start all over. Bah!
