There was the center circular table in the middle and two rectangular tables on each side of it. I was just staring at it and suddenly it seemed like a cool shape to put into the bridge section of that amv I was working on. Heh, it comes in all forms...
- Yeah... 2004-06-16 02:09:29 Have you ever started a project and then halfway through it wanted to start a mini-project on the side? It happened during my last vid and it's happening now...so I of course do what comes naturally...and start the side project. I actually think of it as a sort of prelude or intro to my next big vid (which I was already working on). This side one is about a minute long except in listening to the song, I decided to isolate effects and the images. The song uses about 3 different guitar progrssions plus a zylophone that I want to bring out...well, anyway, it's kinda weird, but I hope it works out...

"Disturbing Behavior" broke the 2000 hit mark and "Empathetic" broke the 1000 hit mark! I'm still surprised that people are actually watching those vids...it seems like ages ago. Though, last night, I sat down and put about 50 amv's into my playlist and just sat back to watch on the ol' tv...anyway, "Empathetic eventually came through the cycle and by the end I had come to the conclusion that I need to make another instrumental video. I realized that I actually had way more fun making that particular amv than I thought...and seeing that it's my highest rated amv as of now, I think I can do no harm :D (let's hope, anyway)...So yeah, that's my resolve by the end of the year...
And I also realized something about opinions...last night I also concluded that I should be writing more opinions...It was nice writing long detailed op's, but ultimately it came down to whether or not I liked writing long opinions or short ones...and once I realized that I wasn't doing either or those, I decided to dedicating a few lines might brighten up more people than just trying to do it for myself...so I think that another resolve will be to do that for the remainder of this year...
However, as for now...The United States of Leland beckons...hahahah, I finally got it!!!!!!! - Amped! 2004-05-27 16:30:41 Right now I'm just steadily moving along with this next project...I haven't decided whether I want to show it right away once it's finished or hold out and add to it for a few months after...In fact I'm actually worried about the response it'll get afterward...But whatever, as long as I know how it came together it shouldn't really matter, ya know? Anyway, everyday at work I've been going over different sections in my head and then working them out in Premiere when I come home...so far I've only really gotten the beginning 15 seconds and the ending 7 seconds down, that is, I have other parts of the song done as well, but only the beginning and ending are at a point where I don't think I'll make changes (actually, that's a lie...I want to add a few more things to the beginning...you can hear a drum in the background and I'd like to expand on that)...Anyway, it's coming along...I think I can be done by the end of summer and hopefully start whatever I think of next (and I do have ideas)...I'm just hoping no one else uses the song I'm using now...I'd like to be the first to premiere with it (yeah, I'm greedy, but I reeeeeeally like the song, ya know?)...
