- Oscar Impressions 2004-03-04 19:02:10 I wasn't even going to write anything....but then I read SarahTheBoring's impression on Lost In Translation not winning and I got a little peeved...not really at her (everyone's entitled to their own opinion, obviously, but let it be noted that Murray and Johanson's characters in Lost in Translation had no sexual relationship, I mean, even that kiss at the end wasn't in the script...theirs was a strictly platonic relationship...but I was surprised to see her interpret the movie in that respect...heh), but at the fact that it was passed over for Best Picture for RoTK...I liked RoTK, but I guess I just felt that there were better films...as for sweeping all 11 categories that it was nominated for, I was terribly mad...Especially for the Best Editing and Best Cinematography categories...I thought 'City of God' had much better editing styles in the movie and it was passed over for all of its nominations...bah! I could keep going, but I'm sure no one here wants to read pages of rambling...
- D'oh... 2004-02-24 21:49:01 Damn...someone beat me to my idea...well, kinda...it uses the same song with Inuyasha clips and while my video is multi-anime, I guess I'm just a bit put off by another video...but I guess it was bound to happen...But it doesn't matter, I've put waaaay too much time and effort in this to stop now...so, yeah...work continues as normal...
- Still around... 2004-02-19 21:47:18 Yeah...guess I've been away for awhile...school just eats up a ridiculous amount of time...I'm even surprised I was able to finish a trailer O_o...anyway, I just finished a banner for amv.org and hopefully it'll get through the nomination process...I won't be too mad if it doesn't...it is my first, after all...

Personally, I think I did a great job matching up the fighting audio to the fighting scenes of Read or Die...I can't wait to see what other people think (if they leave opinions O_o)...Anyway, the link is at:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members/members_videoinfo.php?v=31625 - I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaack... 2004-02-04 01:19:42 It's been over four months since I've finished anything (well, except the two Animix project bits), but now I finally feel a certain sense of completion...even though it's only a trailer...and even though it's only 1:50 long...I really feel like I nailed some of the parts...I went through nearly 9 straight hours of editing (with breaks in between), but it's almost set in stone...I just have to go and fix the picture quality (ugh...might take a while)...almost there!
