Just entered up my two most recent videos. Gawl has been done for a very long time. but its never been entered here... so now it is...
My 3x3 eyes video is also entered here... which is my first video apart from Otaku Vengeance since I joined...
oh and if you didn't know apparently the Otaku Vengeance message boards are going away in 5 days... or something like that... I dunno.. Eric (other half of OV) and Sleep (webmonkey) havne't contacted me for a long while... so its not really my concern.
I should open up a board at the new site soon, but I gotta make sure of a few things and get in touch with a few people... the standard things...
OH! I'm on the Xbox Live beta test. Live is a online service for the xbox. Broadband only so lag is virtually nonexistent and its great!!! not too many games right now since it is just the beta test but soon it will have all the sega sports games for Xbox, as well as Unreal Tournament and more... -

Using Tsunami Mpeg encoder problems... trying to encode to mpeg2
I've followed two different sets of encode parameters trying to figure this out. I have a fully registered version of the latest software. I've searched their help forums and faq's but can't find the answer to this.
When I encode to mpeg2 (I need/want this for an archival copy) it works perfectly all the way through 100%. Then the file plays perfectly all the way through to the 3:55 mark. then it crashes.
I don't think its a limitation of the windows media player or the computer as both play the Pinnacle DV export from adobe fine which weighs in at 906 megs. while the mpeg2 weighs in at a slim 255 megs or less depending on settings. the mpeg 2 crashes, the dv avi doesn't.
Ermacs guides don't cover mpeg2 and I've tried Patrick (Quu's) mpeg2 encoding tips in his guide for video game footage. but both have the same outcome.
any help would be great. -

I couldn't help thinking during the whole course of it "EK would love this"....
other than that thought Its a great video... fresh, interesting... one of the few CB videos that lets the style that soaks that series seep through into the finished work...

I'm at 1:45 on my newest vid... using 3X3 Eyes...
the song is 4 min though so it might be another week or so before I come close to being done...
