  • oh god... 2001-11-04 14:57:09 oh god... this would be so great... A music video set to Tenacious D's Wonderboy with Orphen as the source.

    ROFLMA.... oh god.. funny..

    if you get a chance you need to hear this song if for nothing other than to laugh... ;) its not bad musically...

    the only problem with the song is that they get off on some tangents in there that I dont' know if orphen might have the actual source for. ;)

    but after some more volumes of Orphen come out I will see what I can do... If I can that video will be just awesome.. hehe..

    I need to do more funny videos... I really don't have anything in my video background that is drop on the ground clutching your knee's funny. ;)

    ah well.. back to this Key video... 1 min completed now.. the song is 3:20 long so I have a ways to go... I need to see if I can make this as good as possible though. I won't be happy with myself unless I do..  
  • Being complete is important.. but so is dignity...... 2001-11-03 13:07:51 You may notice a slight bulge in my videos listed now. I entered in 6 of my older videos that I felt needed documentation.

    I'm so ashamed... hehe.. 3 of them are Dragon ball Z, so that obscene number grows larger. I also entered my two Berserk videos, and my Flame of Recca video.

    I've still got a bunch to enter... but I don't think I will... lets see how many I have left... hmmmm..

    I THINK there are currently 13 of my videos not listed on here.

    while I might enter some more of those for the sake of completness; a grand total of 8 of those are *more* Dragon Ball Z videos.. ugh... I won't enter those in unless I feel like degrading myself further.... not like everyone doesn't already know thats how I started out...

    not great cg..... its kind of a mug shot setup... so its not real artsy... but bah! just messing with a new head model I was making.... I think I'm gonna scrap him....

    Before Monsters Inc they played the Teaser Trailer for Star Wars Episode II! now if only it wasn't called attack of the clones but no less.. May 2002... should be fun if nothing else... ;)  
  • its pagan poetry... 2001-11-03 02:07:49 Bjorks video for Pagan Poetry is an excercise in the use of layers and or filters in video editing.... essentially (if you are so inclined and have the eyes to look) the video is for the first half mostly clips of pornography with enough layers and grayscales thrown on it that you can only barely make out whats going on... and only then if you just look for movement and not somethign distinguishable... But it is interesting that none of the censoring folks picked up on the more obvious clips... then towards the end it switches to a topless bjork (which they do pick up on)... hmmmm wonder if mtv will play that one? I've caught it on Much Music (canadian version of mtv available on direct tv and various cable networks)... I'd assume they show it on mtv2 since thats nearly Bjorks home... Oh and if you didn't know I'm a huge bjork fan... not scary obsessive or knowledgable but just dedicated enough to buy the cds when they come out.. ;)

    Went and saw Monsters Inc Tonight with my girlfriend. That movie was great! I really don't know how anyone could hate that movie.... It was ultra sweet and cute and really funny at the same time... see I can recognize cute, but not draw it.. heh.. distinction made. Oh and they had enough jokes that would go over little kids heads that make it worth going to see if for nothing else than to wonder at how they got all that hair to animate and clump when the guy (damn my memory) is laying in the snow with the blizzard going on around him... that scene just made my mouth drop.... Final fantasy take a seat... hehe..

    My girlfriend also gave me some feedback on my video.... which is great... since I show it to my sister and she goes "OOOOOooooo damn thats scary"... not exactly... but she really doesn't like the creepyness factor and thus I get no feedback on this one...... while its not there yet but hey.... that means its on its way to creeping 90% of the people out there out..

    Kottonmouth Kings - Bi-polar < this song is begging for a music video!!!

    now if only I could find an anime character that was bi-polar and wasn't vash, kenshin or goku.... grrrrr...

  • hmmm..... 2001-11-01 23:55:50 well aside from school and buying wood for my next sculpture I did nothing but edit today... which is great cause I get very little time to actually do that anymore..
    But the update is about what I did while editing.. I looked at the Minute fifteen that I had done and decided to scrap it... I was using a bunch of stills timed to the short slow beats.... but I really wasn't digging it...

    so after having to find completely new material that fit I managed to make it back to the 42 second mark. Yay... so now I have something that seems at least to me to be a huge improvement and its also pretty chilling.

    when the series gives you a fade to red that blends in with another scene from much later in the same series GO WITH IT..

    hehe.. ah well.. I like it for now.. but I feel like this one will be my best artistic video... I know the first 41 seconds is now technically superior to Kenshin - Touched. Key isn't packed with that kind of raw emotion and love but its got some of the same powerful imagery that makes the hair stand up on your neck...

    now to make that come through in the video...



    oh and the cruel joke of war? The food packets being air-dropped are colored and shaped (yellow) alot like the cluster bombs we are using to take out tanks and other folks.. hehe.. ;)
