couple things..

seems I'm always updating this for music or anime stuff...
well actually this one is about my life.. hehe.. what little of it exists... and some anime/music stuff too
I finally have someone who I really enjoy spending time with again.... yep.. a girlfriend. been a long time (far longer than I'm willin to mention) since I've had a girlfriend. so basically I'm alot happier than I've been recently... not that I've been sad.. just kinda in relationship limbo.. see I'm very easily amused.. now thats far from a bad thing in my mind.. since I'm not bored easily... but when I don't have anything going on I'm not really motivated to change it...
ok I just realized I hate talking about myself..besides I'm chatting online with my girlfriend and its really hard to keep this train of thought...
so on to my other news..
I got my Evanescence cd in the mail today.. good lord its worth the 15 bucks...I also went to the store and picked up the Pressure 4-5 cd as well as the new Kottonmouth Kings cd. both cds are very cool and worth checking out if you like that type of stuff.... Pressure 4-5 is melodic rock with a bit of a heavy side... Kottonmouth Kings is rap.. well Rap/punk.. its awesome.. their first cd was incredible.. their second was terrible.. the third (called Hidden Stash 2) is the one I'm talking about and its awesome....
For anime I bought The Hakkenden dvd box set... never heard of this anime but the cover art and the story described on the back got me to buy it.. after 3 episodes its great! seems to be going a bit fast but its a really good story and at times the animation is great... other times the animation is kinda cheap. its also called "The Legend of the Dog Warriors".... but hey thats just what the dvd box set says... I like "hakkenden" better.. but for all I know thats what it says...
I also nabbed the "Spring and Chaos" dvd.... I haven't watched it yet... nor do I even know what to expect.. bah! I doubt I've wasted money but I just thought it odd that I bought two titles that I've never even heard mentioned by anyone in the same day... bah!
anyway.... i'll post a more thourough review (no spoilers I promise) of both Spring and Chaos and Hakkenden later on... cause well what else am I gonna talk about on here?
maybe I'll list my failed video ideas like Hsien, and EK... I have very few and I'm a few days late on that so maybe not... but hey.. who knows.. depends on teh level of boredom I reach tommorow.. -

got around to watching both X (on dvd) and Volume 6 of Gasaraki..... Actually rewatching X on dvd helped me immensly! in the extra's section they have tarot cards with personal information on all the dragons of earth, heaven and the dreamwatchers.
sooo how did that help me? It finally made another dvd make sense... Toyko Babylon... I've had this dvd for a long time.. and well.. its still not great.. but its now evident of WHAT it is.. Toyko Babylon is a prequal to X... not the "plot of X divided by Clamp school detectives" as was suggested at AWA.. although thats still funny as shit to think about.
but yeah... It explains that the two characters who fight and die in the first fight in X are actually old friends who got divided much in the same way as well.. I won't ruin X for those that haven't seen it... but it does make some sense.. how they get from their near homosexual friendship in toyko Babylon to enemies fighting to the death.. I only know from the description on the X tarot cards.... I recommend picking up Toyko Babylon if your trying to enjoy X more... but only for that as it really can't stand on its own...
Gasaraki was sweet though.. I keep thinking through this series that at any point its gonna reveal itself... but it doesn't!!! dammit... I stil like this series and recommend it but its almost unbearably slow... much in the same way as Legend of Basara.. which is a great series to check out..
speaking of which I need to order more fansubs... the rest of Legend of Basara now that its available... some more Kodocha.... and damn... most of what else I want isn't available through fansubs... that just means more $$$....
oh and my copy of Evanescence's cd should come this week... that and OV might be up and running at some point soon.. we keep pulling in donations for the server from incredibly nice people.. one guy even donated 40 bucks! damn people are cool.. I really want our site back up... its so helpless knowing that most any new host you get will be gone within a 24 hour period if the full flood of bandwidth hits...
maybe phade will get the .org thing going... then I would happily pay 25 a month for all our videos to be up...
speaking of old stuff I should enter all my old videos into here... but who needs to know about more dbz videos? bah! maybe I'll just enter the non dbz ones... no one needs to know how bad I used to suck anyway.. wait! I still suck.. ah well..

I'm through the capturing process on two new videos now.... Trigun and Key: The Metal Idol.
both videos are going to require a lot of time but since they both have very different moods I figure that for just this once I will try and do two at once... I never have before so hey... i might postpone one just if I get too overwhelmed.
on to other things..
thought I had a virus earlier.. guess my computer just wanted some attention. i updated dat files, scanned... and now it runs fine despite not finding anything....
bah! I hate technology.....
I really want to do something fast.. a video with tons of mindless slaughter and action.. I like almost nothing but fast angry music... SO HOW COME I KEEP DOING THESE SLOW PRODDING MUSIC VIDEOS???? WHATS UP WITH THAT?
I want to do more videos like Jason Salce.. hell he won best technical in expo at awa with a song from one of my Favorite bands. One Minute Silence is awesome anyway.... but the video he pulled off with their song is just pristine!
I should be done with my wood sculpture soon, and I'll post an image of it when I do. I really enjoy working with my hands.... I'm actually considering changing my major from Graphic design to sculpture. The odd thing is their are very very few scultpure majors... like if I decide to change I'll be one of 5.... odd huh?

BERSERK ON DVD!!
well a trailer anyway.. hehe. great seeing it high res
they had four good trailers actually on an anime dvd.. doesn't happen often..
first was Apacolypse Zero (if you were at AWA during Joe's (Crossdales?spelling?) panel he showed his two freakshow videos... they were so incredibly disturbing... but this is the anime.... its a Horror porn action title... one of the bad guys has a monster in his pants....that shoots razor sperm missles... yeah.. it was fucked up.. but funny too.. i might have to pick up that dvd.. hehe if nothing for the sheer disturbed factor
second was Berserk... great trailer.. long too.. good stuff... can't wait to watch it on dvd with hopefully a decent dub... Anime Works has been doing great with Kenshin Tv series.. well not perfect but enjoyable with minimal pain... makes it worth watching through twice in sub and dub....
third was... Knight hunters (aka Weiz Cruz) ... heard its a chick anime but it looked kinda slick. I really enjoyed another chick anime I need to buy the last two tapes too... called Legend of Basara.. incredible story on that one.. not a bit of real action.. just implied action mostly and what seems a very obvious plot but its cool.. worth lookin into... not sure I wanna buy a anime with four feminen looking guys as main characters though.... but hey what do I know?
fourth was The Puppet Princess
never heard of this anime but it looks bad ass!!! gotta check that out..
oh and the dvd these are on is the 11th? volume of Kenshin TV series "Faces of evil".... I neeeeeeed to find "Blind Justice" which is supposed to be out already but isn't... argh!!!
oh and I bought a underground band I like alots national release... the band is called "Fear The Clown"... I did a video to one of their songs (almost 7 minutes long) but it was pretty bad... a bunch of people dug it though.. not sure why.. probably the song.. which is why this cd is worth lookin into! if you like slow but heavy at the same time with thought out emotional well delivered lyrics then you should enjoy it.. its a bit heavier than I just described but hey! its cool.. worth a dl of a track or two..
I also paid for a copy of Evavescence's cd.... cannot wait to get ahold of this cd.. who'd a thunk it... local Arkansas group... they definetly dont sound it.. they might knock off Guano Apes as my favorite girl band.... current list of good girl bands ARE!
