the new member of my family: tuco ramirez!

after a visit to the animal shelter, my family chose to adopt a yellow lab. we chose to name him tuco, named after the cool outlaw character tuco ramirez from the movie "the good, the bad, and the ugly."

i took the day from work because of all the crazy weather and chose to do more productive, nonpayment things like my journal...
currently im working on a photoshop project that is drawing a self portrait using only the airbrush tool.
im also looking up old bands i havent listened to in many a year. apparently Cake is still in the music biz. cool -

with the start of the new ( and last ) semester of college not much has changed. i did manage to find time to draw and work on my exhibit that needs to be handed in on friday. i still have the same job, but now i am more intuitive as to going out and getting a new one. i revamped the cover letter and resume, its just a matter of getting several letters of recommendation from teachers and co-workers.
also my old nissan died not to long ago, and by died i mean "gave up on repairing the damn thing." now i have my parents' ford escort to drive around in, and you dont truly appreciate a decent car until you driven around in a piece of trash for several years.
