- llll 2002-05-05 22:37:21 boy, what a day. what was known about 200 years ago as a day of rest turned out to be a day of back breaking labor, putting over 1,000 pounds of cement down for the expansion of my parents' patio for their jacuzzi. while my spine may never be the same again, im satisfied with the results.

well after cleaning off shelves, dusting, and wiping the fridge clean, and im far from getting my dorm room clean. oh well, nothing that an hour of work cant fix.
hopefully, these following 2 weeks of freedom before summer classes i will be able to get my house in order.

work on special projects

since i had nothing else better to do, i decided upon visiting a presentation of a guest artist. I saw Joe Wos "fastest draw in the east," an illustrator and teacher that tells a story while drawing it out that travels coast to coast performing at festivals, schools, and bookstores. Very knowledgeable of the field of illustration, not to mention a guru of the history of cartoons

with less than a week to go of the semester and a lot of shit going down, it will problably be worth writing for the sake of memory:
apparently netzero didnt recieve payment for internet service yet, even though i sent out a check a month ago. after about half a dozen emails of trying to contact them, i decided to give up the service, when the hell are these internet people realize they might need better communication between customers???
my summer job at the school library is still undecided, hopefully i will hear about it soon. looking at the big picture, it looks as if i going to need to make some major dough, if everything goes as planned i should be able to balance 3 jobs.....
library? - on campus, close by, boring but easy, 6.75 an hour... nuff said
video arcade - a friend told me that due to the drastic shortage of employees, they will be more than willing to pick anyone over 18 for a couple of months.... sweet
graphic design?? (aka the dream job) has it only been 5 years since ive been working at shitty jobs??? hopefully this will give me the positive, enlightening experience of learning something that can be applied to what im interests me, instead of making salads for rich people and cleaning toilets (though not in that order)
as for a summer session at school i already have it worked out. 2 classes, 1 month on campus, plenty of time to earn money and flex my creative muscles during the summer months.
