not that its anything new to people watching the dragonball tv release pattern in the past several years.....
The new season of Dragonball Z, featuring 54 new episodes, will premier on the Cartoon Network in September. Toonami will also broadcast a new season of 38 original Dragonball episodes sometime later this year......
meanwhile it continues its slow crawl to show more of the series on video shelves
as much as i have liked the series, it has been jabbing at my last nerve in having to wait so long in order to see something that finished close to a decade ago. oh well thats life, not that i havent been surprised by this, -

well im finally back from spring break and i feel great
unfortunately with tomorrow comes having to buckle down for a shit load pile of work to do

on to what happened during the break
i first started out in annapolis where i checked out a military school my uncle works at. it was huge establishment with the supposedly largest dorm in america, nothing special. i moved on to washington dc, i was dissapointed in having to see so much security measures and limitations in having to see so little in our own capital, but that what comes with war is sacrifice of a piece of ourselves. all in all is was a well worth while trip. seeing the breathtaking monuments is something i will not forget -

all i have to say is COWBOY BEBOP ROCKS. man im glad to have picked up the box set. all 6 dvds + soundtrack 1 doesnt get any better than that. what makes it so great??? it accomplishes key concepts where most others have failed. for one, despite being episodic in nature, it functions well as a rock solid story with a variety of plots. on top of which, it ends as a complete story (1 big step above of evangelion!!!).
#2, the music. never since eva or akira has there been an anime that has been driven by the soundtrack, both emotionally and action oriented.
#3, the characters. each individual with their own range of emotions and background, from the villian of the week to, of course, EDWARD!! ^_^
all in all, cowboy bebop raises the bar in great anime, with more substance than a space lobster stored in the fridge too long. a breath of fresh air from the 100% morbid dark reality, with dramatics, action and some good laughs. depressing end though..... -

my friend has improved, and things should be back to normal soon, except maybe having a wrecked car. meanwhile, i have my own little problems to deal with. i managed to gather another tall pile of work to get done over the weekend.

o^_^0 - something took a part of me 2002-02-21 10:37:11 ive been in a negative mood since last night. i just heard a friend of mine skid of the road two nights ago. itn somehow lost traction with the gravel and shit that was on the road. she ended up getting stitches along her forehead and she got badly hurt but nothing broken. i hope she feels better
