it feels like its been a month since the last time i went home but its only been two weeks. i found the time to look at the senior art exhibit and i was amazed at the quality of work students have put into projects. i also noticed that a few projects that were presented was some that i worked on recently. in light of this revelation i decided to rework some projects in preparation of my portfolio review this coming april

now for the lighthearted part of my entry. my current money situation is pretty good, so in light of this i plan to look into TRIGUN as my next anime purchase. i checked out the ADV website for latest news on what i hoped to be on the eva movies. more slayers movies and ovas in the works, burp up w x-cess....... BUT NO FRIGGIN EVA MOVIES! not even my most reliable sources for release news (www.animenation.com, www.animeondvd.com) doesnt show any sign that they will be released anytime soon -

at this time the patriots are still kicking ass. i hope it keeps up, though i was also one who wanted an all PA game lol -__-
oh well i didnt even study that much this weekend, but i had a good time anyway /__ though ill problably regret it tomorrow for the art quiz >__<

on this somewhat sober sunday, there is nothing much to talk about. i found time to hang out down at the school apartments to see my pothead phrat friends from last year residency. damn im glad to be at the co ed dorm, those guys are the kind of trouble i dont want to get involved with. nothing else to do but study for 3 classes and hope i dont get too distracted from the task at hand.
i also managed to finish watching the new cutey honey. all in all its was a decent 8 episodes, but at the same time it has the annoying habit of anime, of falling short in telling a complete story at the end, which was a huge downer. aside from that, it was rather enjoyable watching the story unfold with some monents of fun, fansevice (a lot), and action with every episode. the artwork is nice, though backgrounds are dark in nature and certain minor characters (danbeii) have abstract, cartoonish designs. although it is not a huge, cataclysmic anime that will change the world, it is certainly something to get a good laugh from. -

man, life is good!!!! i met with my new art history tutor. unfortunately i might only be able to get a meeting with her only once a week. (the bitter consequences of a huge art class schedule) it enlightened me for better study habits and tricks, so maybe this time around i will be able to get a better grade. nothin to do but study and hang with my posse. i hope to take a stab at studying a little tonight, and work my brains out saturday and sunday.
i got into another one of those "aw hell with it" moods and bought the new cutey honey on dvd. im almost half through and DAMN! it is quite a show. at first i was expecting some magical girl premise with some brain dead characters, but it is a well thought series. an average interesting plot with a fair share of gags (mostly ecchi stuff) and top it off with some with kick butt action. im not saying its the best anime i have ever seen, but its something i am surprised to say that i enjoyed. for some funny fan service with action, it is a formula that works for me
