JOURNAL: crashman.2 (Andrew Mendes)

  • One Month Later: 7/16/03 2004-07-16 16:43:12 Its been a month since my last journal entry, so I have a lot to talk about. Bring Me Down (Anime Remix) is doing good as of now, I like to thank Walnut for the opinion (His new video rocks also). He gave the video a 9/10 overall. And also The Terra II War have been out for almost two weeks but not getting downloaded as munch as Bring Me Down did in its first two week mostly because I didn't post about in the forums but I will do that this weekend.

Now away of the amv stuff. I have two storys up at fanfiction.net, Unwelcome Guests and Aqua Teen's Trip. I got some good reviews for Aqua Teen's Trip but this asshole who reviewed Unwelcome Guests said, and this is what he wrote "Do the world a favor and either stop writing
this foul mockery of the greatest anime series in the world or die,
preferably by some horribly painful way". The anime he's talking about is Saber Marionette J. All I have to say is this. I like to poke fun of stuff I hate and like, and SMJ is one of my fav anime of all time. So if anyone don't like what I'm doing. DEAL WITH IT! Let's move on.

Last weekend, I went to Paramount Kings Island for a music festival for three days of both music and riding roller coasters. I've been going to this amusement park since I was a baby and I love all of the rides there (Excipt for drop zone). And this year is the 25th Birthday (But like to call it birthyear) of the best roller coaster ever, the Beast. And you haven't live until you ride this coaster. the music part of the weekend have some good bands there but they are not as good as Pillar, who rock saturday and was awsome, I even got them to autographed my poster that said "Pillar. Best. Hard Rock. Group. Ever". That rocked. Now I have to work on the second chapter of Aqua Teen's Trip. See ya.
  • Back on track 2004-06-16 16:48:05 The cd I ordered came today. So that means Bring Me Down(Anime Remix) WILL be release Friday. The video will also have a 30 seconds preview of the Terra 2 War. Rock On!!!
  • Bring Me Down(Anime Remix) postpone: 6/15/04 2004-06-15 14:33:39 The new video could be postpone till next week because the cd I pre-order that have the song I what to use was going to be here today. When I went out to check the mail, the cd wasn't in the mail. so I went to the site where I order the cd it said it will be shipped on or around 06/15/2004. I got upset becasue I was hoping the cd would come today. So unless the cd comes thursday, The video will be postpone till the 25th of June cause I only release videos on fridays or saturday. I already got the video done by using the audio from the music video at pillar's site, but the sound wasn't as good as it was.
  • 3 new videos coming this summer:6/11/04 2004-06-11 22:36:49 I am proud to announce the coming of three new videos in the next three mouths; Bring Me Down(Anime Remix), The Terra 2 War, and Otaru's Marionettes.

Bring Me Down(Anime Remix) [6/18]: This video will be my last muti-anime video I'm ever going to do and what a last video it will be. This video is going to have parts of Pillar's new Bring Me Down video (the real video) and scenes from 6 animes and 1 non-anime (Red vs. Blue). I showed one of my friends the beta version of the video and he said its kicks ass and was the best idea that I've had.

The Terra 2 War [7/??]: This have the same idea of bring me down but will only have one anime in it, Saber Marionette J, mix with East West's video (Vacant). It's about the war that Faust has to take over Terra 2 and Otaru and his marionettes try to stop him doing it. This video great for any head bangers.

Otaru's Marionettes [8/13]: The only one that is not mix with a real music video and the second Saber Marionette J video. It's basically how Otaru deals living with Lime, Cherry, and Bloodberry and how they protect Otaru from danger. The song use in it is 3 Doors Down's Kryptonite.

That's the inside of the videos. Get ready next Friday for the release of Bring Me Down(Anime Remix)
  • Update, Tornadoes, and Summer: 5/31/04 2004-05-31 15:32:42 Happy Memorial Day, everyone! I've been working hard on my next music video for the past 2 weeks that will have the unofficial theme song of scup as a opening song (Project 86's Spy Hunter) and a sound clip form Red vs. Blue after the video itself is over. My family had a scare on Thursday night from a tornado warning for where we live and another one took out a subdivision down in Lexington, thankfully, no one was killed. I'll take two days off of making the video so I can focus on the finals for school. This summer is going to be big for me. Going to a NBS(NASCAR Busch Series) race at Kentucky Speedway, going to see Pillar live for the first time since 2002, got a game pass form blockbuster so I can beat games I've rented that was fun, and I'm getting my driver's license. All that leading to my senior year in high school...Oh, two more things. The anime in my next video is Saber Marionette J and....Pillar's new album comes out in TWO WEEKS!!!
