we are ugly, but we have the music

The First Video is almost done. I've got the blank spots all filled in, and most of the timing worked out.
Now all I have to do is change a couple of clips (I decided they didn't really fit well) and fine-tune the timing.
However, I have no idea how long that will take, because I'll be working on it only sporadically till November. Once November starts, I might not touch it at all till the end of the month. NaNoWriMo will take priority.
Oh well. That's okay. Not like I have a deadline for the video. ^_^

Open Up a Vein
2003-10-09 09:44:42
The past couple of days have been completely unproductive.
But I did spend lots of time reading the NaNoWriMo forums. I noticed a reference to NaNoWriMo in someone else's journal - SarahtheBoring, I think. I really should double check, and them send her a message.
This is my first NaNoWriMo; I found out about it months ago, and have been eagerly awaiting November!
Well, back to work. Today I hope to get more done on The First.

Transportationally Challenged
2003-10-06 16:12:05
Bad: My car died at the post office.
Good: It died at the post office instead of on the highway in the middle of nowhere.
Bad: It happened on a school day, and my husband is still in class.
Good: It didn't happen in the middle of the night.
Bad: I had bags of groceries with me.
Good: It wasn't raining, or hailing, or freezing, or scorching.
Bad: I had to pay for a taxi.
Good: I didn't have to walk all the way home with my stuff.
Bad: This may be the end of the road for my beloved car.
Good: My husband has his own truck, and I have a bicycle and two working legs.
So I guess I've actually had a really good day. ^_^

Shadows

Trying to get some clipwork done, but it's difficult because The Husband is playing an Xbox game. "Fatal Frame" - it looks really creepy. It's freaking even him out a bit. Cool.
If I were into video games, I would be so into "Fatal Frame."

OK State Fair!
2003-10-04 20:11:46
Didn't get a scrap of work done on any AMVs yet today, because The Husband took me to the Tulsa State Fair. ^_^ It was even better than I expected! I saw so many cows and horses and llamas and goats and chickens and quilts and cakes and roses - wow!
And there was an ostrich in the petting zoo. Man, he had some attitude. He strutted at the edge of his pen, looking at all the people, and when anyone held up a paper cup of feed to him, he attacked it. He ate the feed in a couple of jabs, then grabbed the cup with his beak, held it upside down, and shook the rest down his throat.
Then we went to two malls and Best Buy to look for newanime. None of the series we follow have anything new out yet, so we didn't buy anything.
All in all, a great day.
And now I'm home to work on vids!
