Had some issues trying to get my non-AMV video exported. Final Cut Pro doesn't have a MPEG-1 encoder, and the DivX encoder (through QuickTime) crashes.
The only encoder that really performs the way I want it to is QuickTime/MPEG-4. Even at 398x240 I didn't see any artifacts at full screen. (Yes, 398x240. Widescreen, yo.)
Do many people have a problem with MPEG-4? QuickTime Player is gratis and anyone who installed iTunes for Windows has it anyway...
Also, I'm looking to the future and wondering how I'm going to go about archiving these things for future use. Turns out I can simply save my source media and the project file and it'll regenerate the rest whenever needed. Of course, my source media runs to about 10GB...
