  • Lilo and Stich 2002-06-30 20:52:19 Just got back from the the movies with my sister. This was defiently one of the better Disney movies I have seen in a while! 
  • Surprise Party and Road Trip 2002-06-30 14:20:01 Last night I went over to Clarrisa'a house for her surprise b-day party. I hadn't really been to a surprise party ina long time but it was still fun to see her face when she in the door and saw us.

    Lot's of great food there depite the fact that the oven as broken for a whiel until it got fixed again. I talked with alot of old friends like Nicole, Gaby, Claudia, Mike, Carlos, Rosie, and many others.

    We rented Memento and stayed up late last night waiting for the World Cup.
    I just woke up a while ago. 2-0 Brazil took the gold.

    I can't wait till Tuesday! I'm heading out to L.A. for some time off form everything in El Paso and the AMV world. A well deserved vacation I think ^_^. I've been working non-stop in getting my new system together as well as working on my new video for the AWA Masters.

    So some time off will do me some good I'll be gone for about a week. A nice relaxing Week in L.A. where I get to spend July 4th. WooooHOOO!  
  • Akon Documentary on Hold 2002-06-25 21:26:30 Well, turns out I can't use my DV500 until I make my new system. I talked to Patrick about it and gave me a setup option on how to setup the BIOS.

    I will be finishing my new system sometime in July so that gives me time to work on my AWA Masters entry as well as another secret project that I am keeping behind closed doors.

    So not all was lost.

    First let me just say that we had alot of fun with this contest (besides lack of sleep due to the fact that there were so many great anime music videos entered for the MindWarp Spring/Summer 2002 AMV Contest ). Below you will find the list of winners.

    Winners and Honorable mentions: These are the videos that it came down to. Allow me to explain. Obviously, when you see the winner of a category and if you see an honorable mention in that category, it means that we had a tough time in deciding between those 2 videos for a winner to be decided in that category, thus we would still like to recognize the video. Only some Categories had this. Not all of them had this case. Also, please remember that every video in this contest was eligible for Best Editing, Best Visual Effects, and Best Anime Music Video.
