Dr. StrangeLove Or: How I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb
2002-04-16 18:08:54
Just finished watching Dr.Strangelove Or: How I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb again for the second time. First time I saw it some years ago when my dad rented it so I didn't remember too much of it.
My friend Humberto lent it to me again and I saw it and this is all I have to say about it:
"A Dark and Sinister Comedy that takes the threat of Nuclear of War to a new level by showing what a sick and twisted joke it really is to politicians."
Peter Cellers plays 3 people in this movie.
Man the ending of this movie is ...... well you dont know whether to laugh or take it into serious consideration of the future.
"It is not only possible, it is essential!"
~Dr. Strangelove
A brilliant film by Stanley Kubrick.

Things aren't always what they seem....
2002-04-14 11:32:28
Love doesn't make the world go round. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile.
True love is like ghosts, which everyone talks about but few have seen.
Love is being stupid together.
There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer, no disease that enough love will not heal, no door that enough love will not bridge, no wall that enough love will not throw down, no sin that enough love will not redeem... It makes no difference how deeply seated may be the trouble, how hopeless the outlook, how muddled the tangle, how great the mistake. A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all. If only you could love enough, you could be the happiest and most powerful being in the world...
Today I begin to understand what love must be, if it exists... When we are parted, we each feel the lack of the other half of ourselves. We are incomplete like a book in two volumes of which the first has been lost. That is what I imagine love to be: incompleteness in absence.
We've got this gift of love, but love is like a precious plant. You can't just accept it and leave it in the cupboard or just think it's going to get on by itself. You've got to keep watering it. You've got to really look after it and nurture it.

Setting up at School

Ok I guess this is working.
Hehe, my principal called me down here to setup his new Compaq Windows XP compter.
Boy do I feel sorry for him for having this Celeron POS.
Who cares, I get out of class to do this for him plus I get brownie points with him and most of the staff.
You never know when you might need a favor -_^.
