- Well how things change... 2001-12-04 01:10:12 Well last I wrote something in this thing, I was stuck in a dead end job at a comic store... now I am writing my own job description for Manager of Logistic Services, including my salary range... OH MY! Lets just say that I will be making nearly 5 times what I make at my current job. The downside, management means one big thing... 10 hour work days. :( So I will quite surprised if I have any free time in the next few weeks. Though It looks I'll sponsor my own damn room party at AWA this year! :P
- In the effort to complete life and stuff... 2001-11-22 00:33:00 Well I *AM* going to finish the first draft of my music video... I have three days in a row off, and only one date... and odds are she is going to blow me off pretty bad. Found out she met some 6' beefcake this weekend.. *shrug*... all 5'4" of my ass has no chance. :)
- Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Existence... 2001-11-19 05:56:16 Well I havent slept well all week... actually I havent slept well since the new owners took over the store. I have a feeling its a bad sign, even though they havent done anything wrong just yet. Supposed to recieve a call today setting up my interview for a new job. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Looks like this one could really pan out for me if it works out. The capper to the week is that we were informed today (Sunday) that our health insurance was cut by our old owner on Friday... and we won't be getting insurance from the new one until Feb 1. Just fucking great! Time to give Blue Cross/Blue Shield a call and pray they dont charge me an arm and a leg for it. Of course I can use my nearly poverty level salary to pay for that! Sometimes the world can just kiss my ass.
- Justice League ROCKED! 2001-11-17 20:36:52 Well Cartoon Network again lived up to my expectations. Justice League was incredible... though the first 1/2 hour was basically the Superman/Batman show, once all the members of the "League" are introduced things get crackin'. Hell even Snapper Carr appears, special bone thrown to all us JLA LONG TIMERS! John Stewart is currently my favorite on the team. A complete asshole, much better than what Hal Jordan would have been. They even made sure Batman wasnt an official member of the League. Monday is the Manhunters... you know those guys that were around before the Lanterns... should be damn skippy!
- Shatner is still the man! 2001-11-17 12:38:29 Well saw Ironchef USA, which would be great if they dropped that stupidass BattleBots signs. Shatner is as over the top as usual. I was so damn impressed, but also came to the realization that Shatner looks just like my Dad now... Maybe there is some crazy Shatner blood in my veins! :)
