I've finally done it! I've managed to get not just one, not just two, but FIVE, count em, FIVE WHOLE VIDEOS up for downloading! Banzai! It's a miracle, I've beaten the system (and my ineptitude at properly encoding video) and achieved what I once thought impossible! So let's recap shall we:
1) I learn I'm an idiot at encoding video by not compressing audio. I rectify my errors, and re-encode my old videos into smaller file sizes.
2) I attend a private Super Bowl and watch the Bucs whomp some serious ass. Hell yeah! [BTW, I'm not a huge football fan but Dad and I won money by betting on the Bucs, and I had good time.]
3) I begin uploading videos and get not 1, not 2 but 5 vids online!
4) My job starts again next week, so I'll have cash flow again.
All this within a mere 12 hour period....
Yeah... tonight was fan-bloody-tastic! -

I feel like a complete stupid ninny... I came to realize that just THIS night, yes after YEARS of AMV making, that upon encoding my videos in the shinest video codecs available, I never compressed the audio. But tonight I, like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, have won a major victory in my carrer. After going back and encoding all my videos with compressed audio, I should getting more videos online... with only half the angst, but better image and such. I'm as happy as can be... I had awesome time watching the game... and enthralled to find my stupidity defeated...

Ok... now that my computer is running again, and my anime club is back in swing, I gots my Inside D&D video back. And now it's online again, along with Lord of the Animes: The Fellowship of the Anime.
Why these two? Because out of all the videos I made in 2002, I believe that these two are my best and hopefully worthy of making it into the competition this year. So go check 'em out. -

Ok... I finally got my computer fixed. [It's been awhile now, but that's beside the point.]
Life has it out for me. Ok... here's the deal.
First... my computer suffers a massive Hard Drive Crash, requiring me to send it back to Sony to get a new hard drive. I lost EVERYTHING on my computer. That sucks.
Second... about a month before my computer crashed, my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and to add insult to injury, he went a got his 2nd DUI 3 nights later. Effectively losing his license for at least 3-4 months til he can apply for a Restricted. So I had to move BACK to Earlysville and become Dad's chaufer.
Third... just 2 days before moving out... the AC Pump on my car froze up, causing my belt to snap. Thus, rendering my car inoperable until it can be fixed. But when the Fourth item happens, it's kind of hard to fix your car.
Fourth... Mid-December, my boss Ryan tells me that Aramark's corporate dick-heads say that hourly waged staff is unnessacary until mid-February when Baseball and Lacrosse starts up. So I got laid-off. Ain't that a bitch?
So where's the good in all this?
Because my car doesn't work, and I need to drive dad, I get to use HIS 1998 Jeep Wrangler [It's bliss I tell you!]
Since I don't have a job for now... I get more time to work on my art and music videos, and catch up on my gaming.
Dad pays for gas, food and most of my "living expenses" so all I need to worry about is my loan payment... which I made enough money to handle til Feb.
And to top it all off... it's snowing... so for now... I'm winning in my war against life...
