All I want to say is, today I *experienced*, not watched, but *experienced* the new Adam Sandler/PT Anderson flick, "Punch-Drunk Love."
What a fucking amazing movie. Go see it. -

Gambitt's account of Crazy Bald Guy from AUSA is the best I've read (AUSA Saturday Report). I imagined it was pretty weird/funny to see the three of us running for our lives just as he was stepping out to see what was going on :)
Looks like the forum's not dead for good after all...hrm. -

Well...I up and re-bought the Use Your Illusion albums on CD yesterday (lost the cassettes 6 or 7 years ago). *is now awash in gleefully trashy childhood nostalgia* I still remember the thrill of owning my first tapes with the "Explicit Lyrics" sticker on them, and how conscious I was of EVERY curse word on the album (and boy, are there are lot of them). Now they just wash over me...ah, how the times have changed.
Estranged still gives me chills...and I was actually thinking about video ideas. Dare I attempt a 9-minute music video? It would probably be a series of interrelated vignettes from different animes...with all of the sources taken out of context to make one unified story. But I don't think I'm nearly crazy enough to attempt something like that...yet ;)
In other AMV news, I think I've got an idea of what my next major AMV endeavor may be...problem is, with the complexity of this video, along with side projects such as DDR and MiniAMV, it may be the only video I'll be able to complete within the next year or so. Another problem is that this isn't one of those projects like Sappy Self-Indulgence, where I'm so excited to make it that I'm practically jumping out of my skin -- I just think this particular video would be really cool to see ^^;; Judging by the complexity of what I'm envisioning and the rate at which I edit nowadays, this video would probably take me many months to complete.
But who knows, maybe with that nifty new toy I got from the Iron Chef sponsors I'll be able to finish this video in 6 hours or something :D - 2002-10-15 14:17:18 Rising_Shadow: The two of us were making fun of the fact that someone had accused us of being the same person.
