I WILL have a video for AWA this year!
Finally found my song last night.
This thing is going to be a doozy to put together. And even more of a doozy for audiences to have to sit through -_- - 2003-05-29 08:25:41 Ha ha ha ha ha....

I have footage down for about 15 seconds worth of DDR3 now. Of course, that means next to nothing, since just about everything is eventually going to be altered with effects and such. Plus, I don't want to rip off AbsoluteDestiny TOO much ^^;; Part of one clip is basically lifted straight out of SRV...but I'm not sure what else do to it, because it's the only thing I can think of to do with that part in the music. And most importantly, it's a useful way to conserve footage :P I have no idea how much footage I have left, since I'm only using one specific type of scene. Gonna have to rethink a lot of it. I feel pretty stupid, because I totally forgot that Ian used that effect in SRV...so when I asked him how to do it, he asked me if it was the same as in SRV, and I said no :P I thought he was referring to that part where the same clips came in at different angles.
I have a pretty good idea of what I'm going to do to make a part with a repeating guitar close-up more interesting. I really need to sit down and think long and hard about what specific effects I want to see with each lick of the guitar. As eye-boggling as the effects in Hell maid May are, I think trying to imitate that Turco guy would just be overkill.
Oh well, I have time...although in less than 2 weeks I'll have SaiKano footage that I'll be able to start working with.
