    I have two friends, Natasha & Nathaniel, they have the chance to win their dream wedding valued at just under $30 000AUS (Roughly $20 000US). However to win this package they need public voters Here's they're story (None of it is exaggerated.):

    Tash and Nathan have been engaged for just under three years, and have wanted to marry one enough for just as long. However with two low paying jobs the dream seemed to be almost imposable, now, with their first child having been born, a cute little baby boy by the name of Hamish, the dream seems to be even less likely to happen.

    They then entered this competition on the radio, and have been lucky enough to get into the final three (There was about 300 cupels entering). The other two candidates have a head start on them however due to them having more contacts here In Australia, and so, to give them a helping hand I've decided to contact all of you over seas.

    I know I may be biased by saying that these two are the best people you could vote for, since I don't know the other two candidates very well. But if you could meet Tash and Nathan I'm sure that you would agree that they are the nicest people you could ever meet and that they'd deserve this for they love each other so much.

  • Is moving... 2005-11-15 20:48:59 Well, the AMV I sent in today (will be available on the 16th) is the last AMV I'll send in for awhile. Why's that you ask? It's because I'm moving, and wont have access to my AMV making programs for four weeks, maybe longer... Sad I know. I will try my best to get a new AMV out as soon as I get settled in the new house, and the computer has been set up etc. Will miss you all, and I hope you keep on enjoying my AMVs I've made so far. ^^ 
  • Why I use Fan Subs. 2005-08-15 20:23:41 I've been using a lot of Fan Subs, as you can see, and in all honesty I hate using them and prefer using DVD footage whenever I have an AMV I wish to make which I have the DVD's for.

    So why have I used Fan Subs? There are many reasons for this, but the most obvious one is the fact that I have no money to buy the DVDs. If I had the money, I'd need a credit card so that I could buy most of the animes I use for they haven't a) been released anywhere yet, but are valuable on DVD in Japan or B) they've been released but aren't out in Australia yet. Due to these two major facts I haven't been able to get the DVDs I need.

    But why don't you get a job? you ask. Easy answer to that, I've been trying, but because of where I life is a Tourist area, it runs in seasons, in off season, they're not looking for a lot of people, so I can't get any experience, and when it comes into Tourist season because I don't have that experience I don't get the job... an annoying cycle I know. Not only that, but I've found out that I'm moving at the end of this year, so because I won't be down here much longer, they won't let me get a job because they'd just have to train someone else up as soon as I go, and when I leave it'll be Tourist season. When I move, I will be looking for a job ASAP, because I'm going to be trying to move out of home either next year, or the year after. Not only that, but I'm also going to try and start some courses so that I can get my experience up.

    So there you have it. I can't buy DVDs because I have no money, I don't have money because I don't have a job, I don't have a job because I don't have any experience, and I don't have any experience because I can't get a job, and I won't be getting a job because I'm moving at the end of the year.

    Make sense? I hope it does. ^^
    Well that's it, I'll try and get more AMVs out soon, And one of them will be with DVD footage, if I can come up with a song to use with the anime. I'm also going to start re-watching Full Moon Wo Sagashite in the next few days, so I'll have those two AMVs I've been talking about out soon.

    One last thing. I've gotten Photoshop Premiere to work... sadly, I don't know how to use it properly yet, even with reading the instructions. XP I'm going to try and find a "How to Guide" for beginners, and yes, I did check the ones on this site, I didn't see one on Premiere, but I did see one for "After Effects" I will be reading that sometime soon since "Premiere" has some "After Effect" Effects. ^^

    Well that's is. Hope you all understand why I use Fan Subs now. ^^ Keep a look out for more AMVs to come!

  • Gomenenasai... 2005-08-05 20:03:42 Okay people, just so you know, I've decided to watch "Full Moon Wo Sagashite" before doing the two clips I said I would... I kind of watched an AMV which had scenes in it from later eps and it's sparked my interest to see what pretty parts they have in the rest of the anime so I can use in my two AMVs.

    However watching the eps will take me awhile to do, because I've been given a lot of fan sub animes along with it to watch and I've been told I should watch "this one first", and "that one first"... most of that was coming from my own mind, but that's beside the point.

    Just don't threat, I haven't forgotten making AMVs, I'm going to make a few from a series I just finished watching called "Tactics" as soon as I find songs that can go with it. It is a Fan Subbed anime, so sorry about that, and I take no credit of subbing the anime. So please look out for them coming out sometime soon, and then hopefully followed by the "Full Moon Wo Sagashite" AMVs I said I'd make.

  • Three AMV ideas?! O.o 2005-07-30 21:25:10 I have three AMV ideas running around my head, and it's most annoying, mainly because one of them is just the song I want to use, and not the anime to go with it. However, the other two AMV ideas are pretty much ready to go, I just need to get around to making them. The anime I'm going to use is "Full Moon Wo Sagashite, and it's only going to be with the first 26 eps... unless I watch the last 26 eps and find parts in it that I want to use in the AMV. ^^;;; Sadly, I am reduced to fan subs of this anime, and I take no credit for subbing the eps.

    Anyway, the songs I'm going to use are two "Paul McDermott" songs. I don't know if any of you know who he is, but he's an Australian comedian and singer. The songs I'm going to use of his is: "Shut Up And Kiss Me" with Fiona Horne as the female singer. The second song I'm going to use is "Happiness."

    I don't know how long these will take me to do, maybe only a few hours, maybe longer if I end up re watching the series so I can watch the final 26 eps and possibly include them into the clips. I'll give you an update on how they're going later.

    After they're finished, it may take me awhile to get a new AMV out because until I can think of an anime to go with the Sarah McLachlan song "Fear" there maybe no AMVs unless I come up with other ideas.
