M5 and tequila sunrise
2004-06-11 03:03:24
when u know your music, you can feel it soak your clothes the way a couple of glasses of well made tequila sunrise dampen your tastebuds, leaving you longing for the sunset. u lie on your back, the belly of heaving sky watches u...
jazz, anime, well written conversation about Outlaw Star, or Spike gettin' with Faye-faye, talk on Spriggan or how Onimusha 3 is playin out on an antique PS2.
good times. adam levine doin his thing on a nearby radio player. "Secret" is on and it tells the story of your life. Like how Kaoru feels for Sir Ken...or the unspeakably beautiful love between Chihiro and Haku. AMV's will tell a story, a "secret".
having a blast on the brim of a summer wine glass, waiting to take that plunge. pool of kick ass amv's. bring it! *wink

the good ones
2004-06-07 19:44:31
Just viewed a couple of REALLY good amv's! Chris Nguyen Studios did an excellent job. I think that these highlighted a rather rainy day here in Salem, OR.
Things are rolling around in my head. Have things to do and yet I feel that all motivation has been sucked out of me. Yeah, not a pretty picture. I haven't watched any new anime. I need anime in my blood. The good kind1 *smile
Summer has technically started. However, I've been out of school for the past year (grad w/ B.A. at Gonzaga University '03). I think that's why this last year has been anime charged for me! Took a year off realxing, figuring otu what to do woth my life. Applied to film school, hence the extreme interest in artistic amv talents. I'm very impressed so far and I can't wait to do my stuff.
thought for the day: amv's that move you to tears are one of the good ones.

new things, good things
2004-06-05 03:20:02
This week has been pleasant. Slow and unfolding in little increments of time, but positive aned enlightening.
For my very first time, i participated in the AMV org Forum and received rewarding replies! I was so thrilled and excited to take part in a vibrant music, anime, and artistic communicating arena!
I also got to chat with LightningCountX who was really kickass to answer amv and anime questions. He IS a nice dude, his profile holds water!
Said it many times before but this whole site is awesome. I'm having a blast viewing diverse works outside of RK, Cowboy Bebop and Miyazaki anime amv's. Very excited. Very fun!
All new things. All Good things. Wish I could figure out Journal Buddies and how it works. Will do soon and i know it'll be fun!

anime anime
2004-05-31 02:49:02
Spirited Away just finished playing (for the 100th time) and i still can't get enough of it. It truly is an epic piece of art. The original score soundtrack is also awesome, playing it as i write.
Today was a good day. Calm, slow-paced, and i got to work on some rk stuff. A friend of mine is helping with the visuals and i'm really excited about it! anyway...
I'm in love with anime. From startling graphics to soul moving moments...it's reminiscent of unforgettable feature films, but with anime, your imagination goes beyond any limit of a space and time, making for an everlasting experience.
my sis and i are about to surf through the latest amv's. we're slowly expanding our horizons too. So, just because our opinion list seems limited, our downloads are expansive. So, amv creators, hope you're having fun creating cuz we're having a blast viewing! :)

p.s.
I promised to make notable mentions of kickass amv's concerning sano and soujiro. The name i left out, by accident, is Leviathan Studios. Great JOB!
