  • Blargh. 2002-10-06 20:02:30 I am in a so-so mood today. So much stuff happened this weekend. Even though I won't go much into details, let's just say that I almost got killed on the street (and not by accident!!). Also, I think that my relationship with my gf is getting better even though sometimes I wonder... After each phone call it's like I'm forgetting something, and this isn't the first time I realize it. I guess I'll have to give it time and see how it turns out, cause something's missing, and I don't know what.

    I'd like to add that I am growing more and more eager to click that oh-so-sweet "Add new video" link. I haven't had that pleasure in ages... =/ Still need to buy a new video card. Gotta shop for that also.

    Sometimes I think I have no life for maintaining an online journal that no one reads anyways... But then, why not? I have plenty of time on my hands! (Actually, I don't, it's because I just feel like it)

  • Help!! 2002-10-02 00:35:59 Finally, an okay day. Things are getting better. I finally got a reliable host with GREAT support (they reply MINUTES after I file in a trouble ticket) and hosting a couple of websites. My Onegai Teacher AMV should be up and ready for download when I get my DSL access back, so I can upload it. And that may very well be next week (right now I'm on 56gay... >.<).

    I have also been "assigned" an AMV project to do using a new anime called UFO Princess Warukure (Valkyrie). I don't think any AMVs of that series have been made so I guess I'll be the first one, if I finish soon enough. Still need to buy a new video card so I can work on it =/ Gotta love now knowing what to buy. If anyone has any idea of what kind of video card I can buy (I want something better or similar to the ATI Radeon 9700, but no ATI, because I have a personal grudge against them) then drop me a line at xenodata2@hotmail.com

  • Very p*ssed... 2002-09-16 23:49:47 I have been waiting 2 months for my webhost to set up my account, and by browsing some random site it has come to my attention that CYBERWINGS (the sh*ttiest company ever) was unable to pursue their webhosting service. Basically they ran away with my money... Those greedy bastards. Now where will I find a host with 300 GB of data transfer a month for 70$/year? I knew it was too good to be true! Damn me for being gullible. I know I haven't updated this journal a lot, I've been so busy with life.

    My summer was great, I've gone out with some girls and stuff and I have a nice g/f now. The kind everyone wants. I.e. she knows that "Noir" isn't a color and that a domain isn't a place where some hobo lives... Plus she's h-o-t! Other than that school has now started. It's my last year and I have to study really hard to get into the college I want. I've always been at the head of my class but with my social life now blooming (compared to my past years) I really have to get serious and think about the future more seriously... Can't mess everything up in the last year.

    Furthermore, I have been working on an AMV but I keep starting my work over and over again. That's another one of my problems. Crappy computer. The video card (ATI AiWR) isn't compatible with XP and lets my PC be very unstable. I can't open a single raw episode of Tokyo Underground (encoded in DivX 5.0.2) without Premiere crashing on me, and this is really pissing me off even more.

    Now here is the list of the stuff I need to do, in no particular order. I just have to write it down somewhere because I am very angered:

    - Get a good webhost and get started on my anime site and host 4 other websites.

    - Make some publicity for my webdesign company.

    - Buy a new video card so I can work on my AMV.

    - Draw more (I stopped 2 years ago, I want to get back into it but I lack time.)

    - Spend time with gf (that's a no-brainer)

    Now how will I manage to do all of those things... I wonder :S
