Well, my leave of absence is at an end, and I'm back to my usual habits. Not a lot new to expect from me, unless you want to know how the chess season went. We finished 9-5, which puts us at second in our conference. My personal record was 5-6-1, but I don't really care. I was stuck at a board that was higher than my playing level for a good portion of the season. But they couldn't put somebody else there, because I was better than all the people below me, but that situation was eventually fixed, and will became our sacrificial lamb.
As much as I'd ove to recant the old times, I've got to go work on my new project...my deadline is tommorrow*_*

I dont really use this journal anymore. I have no idea why. This site used to be my main reason for using the internet back in the day. Now i just use my xanga. I knew this was gonna happen. I can only do one thing at a time. I can't keep up with all this. I may just stop using either all together. I don't have the time, the patience, or the energy for this anymore. It feels like a burden posting here nowadays, so i guess i'll just stop. At least for now. Not sure how long it'll be till next post, but i'd look to it beign somewhere near the middle of february. At the earliest. I'll leave you with that. Until then, when my life has some stability, and I'm in a right state of mind, i'll bid you adieu.

So brendan sets himself on fire......
Thursday morning. Brendan always makes himself tea. Without fail, every morning for four years. On this particular day, things went slightly awry. Brendan's standing in the kitchen, drinking said tea, when liz walks in.
Liz-"BRENDAN!!!! YOUR ON FIRE!!!!!"
Turns out good old bren forgot to turn off the burner, and was leaning against the stove. His over shirt caught on fire, and he had flames running up his back. He runs screaming into the living room, taking off his shirt during the trek. he throws it on the floor, and stamps it into oblivion, and fuses it to the living room carpet. Strangely enough, the bottom hem of the shirt was fine, with a 7 inch base right above that beign burnt out. It moved up in a triangle from there, ending about 7-8 inches up the shirt.
Bren takes it off the floor, and wears it to school.
He later told me that he wants to start a petition to start reinforcing the "Stop, drop, and roll!" method. they stop teachign it after 3rd grade. He claims that in the panic of beign ablaze, he wasnt able to look back that far and remember to do taht instead of screaming like an idiot. He wants them to start reinforcing it year after year, just so you dont forget. He also made another point, but i was too busy laughing to hear it.
That was pretty much the most exciting thing since my last post, so i'll just leave it at that....unless your interesed in the fact that i kick ass at bowling. Okay, so i dont kick ass, but if i get a 150 it was a pretty bad day.

Well, not much to say, just a couple of notes.....
the possible cause of the jump in hits may be me going back to read whatever i may have missed in my week off.......and then it jumped again because i meaninglessly advanced through the pages for no appaerent reason, for a good 15 hits. Thats about it
Other news....
We won the chess match today....by an incredible amount. Varsity won 9-0 and JV won 5-0. I'll explain it all some other time. Which brings me to 1-0 this year!!!

mood:I've had better.......like the time i had to have emergency surgery....
Well. It's been a week since i last posted, though it was accidental. But, I've had one hell of a week, so i'm sure you'll excuse that minor infraction....especially since i've got a shitload of new stuff to share with you guys. That is, of course, assuming i feel like putting it up.(It's not that i want to hide it or anything.....i just dont want to type that much) The chess team has it's first match tommorrow, so i get to see how good the other schools got over the break when i play my opponent. Me will and brendan all made the team, because for whatever reason Mr. Gruenloh made cuts, probably because we had so many more people this year than the last few.(Thanks to me recruiting everybody.....about half the people i got to sign up showed) Will got all pissed off when he found out he was playing 2nd JV board.(The team is broken up into 9 Varsity boards, and 5 JV boards, arranged in descending numerical order, which i'm sure you guessed, but i'm just clarifying. Gruenloh let 20 people in so we have 6 "reserves" as he so eloquently put it.) because he's ceartain he should be higher, but the highest he could go is up 3 slots to 8th on varsity, because he cant beat the people above that, at least, not under serious conditions. brendan made 3rd JV, which is within 2 boards of where i think he can play. last year i played 1st JV and 9th Varsity all year, and he's just under the skill level i was at last year. I play 7th Varsity, but i'll be able to move up after this match, because i can beat all but 3 people on our team: our 1st and 2nd board, and our 6th board. I can beat everybody else consistently, so i'll have no problem advancing, becasue tom (6th)is moving up too, so i'll just tail him up to about 4th or 5th, until i can finally beat him. movign right along.....
I'm so.......dead. I'm just totaly drained physically and mentally. I've had quite a taxing week, so i'll leave it at this for now.
