JOURNAL: MadMadameMinx (Minx )

  • Newbie! 2004-01-15 18:14:49 Yep. I'm new. I started coming here about a week ago. I'm currently far from home and all my worldly belongings (all the good ones, anyway), so I cannot upload any videos.

    But I can jot down my ideas in this e-journal instead of on any random scrap of paper that gravitates toward me. Saving myself the anguish of losing flashes of genius in the laundry.

    I've never made a video before, but I'm anxious to try. I'm reading the forums and asking my compu-savvy friends questions to find out how. I have no pretentions, but I hope one day to make an amusing product.

    I've only got two serious plans right now:

    1. Hellsing/Madonna "Like a Virgin"
    2. Sailormoon/Fannypack "Things"

    Clocking in at a little over 5 mins, the "Virgin" vid intimidates me and will sit on the back burner. My next entry (I hope) will be the lyrics to "Things" and an outline of the scenes I want to capture.

    My tech advisor (ex-boyfriend, college bum, and jack of all trades), Jason, is giving me a hand by actually making the video out of my extensively detailed notes, but who knows when we'll actually get around to it.
