  • Wow... O.o 2002-11-08 22:02:26 I just noticed that my one year anniversary of being on the site was four days ago and I never even noticed.

    Nevertheless, it's been great being here and I'm sure it'll continue to be. ^_^

  • *Sigh* I guess I have to... 2002-11-06 22:32:24 I just came to the conclusion (about an hour ago) that I'm probably not going to finish my video in time for the CSUN deadline. Even if I do, there's a good chance I won't be able get it onto the ftp on Friday, since I have work that day.

    Everything kind of hinges on how my editing goes tomorrow. Fortunately I don't have a class in the morning, since it got cancelled this week. If I can get about a full minute more done of editing in the video, then I'll bust my ass over tomorrow night and finish it and then try and get it on the ftp.

    I know I'd be able to finish if I could get past some trouble spots in the beginning of the song. After those spots I've got everything else I want to do in the video nailed down. Maybe I'll try working on those areas where I know what I want, then I'll go back to trouble spots. It'd probably work out better that way.

    But if I don't think it's ready, I'm not gonna send it to the contest half-assed. "I want something full-assed!" "Full-assed it is!"

    In other news...well, there really is no other news. I went looking for the Moulin Rouge soundtrack today, since I can't get the song out of my head after watching Sappy Self Indulgence about 10 times today. That video has the most emotion I've seen that comes across when you're actually watching it. You just get caught up in it. Damn the awesomeness of that video >_<
    That's ok, I didn't cry at least. I did come close though...=P

    I also love the song to Wonka's 'Appetite for Dynamite'. It's just got a nice groove and a sound I can't shake. I'll have to look the artist up that he used in that, after I get the other soundtrack, which the guy at Sam Goody said should be coming in on Thursday.

    Anywho, I'm getting the new Eva-man from Dave now. Maybe I'll work on my vid a bit while I'm waiting for the transfer.

  • Whoa... 2002-11-04 09:12:15 I just had the strangest dream last night. I'm not gonna go into details, but involved Angelina Jolie stalking me in my house, and her wanting to put 'poop' in her hair.

    God that was strange... *shakes head*


    Anyway, on a less odd note I went to Laurel Falls on Sunday and played both DDR 5th Mix and DDR MAX2 (7th Mix) =D
    Both are quite cool, and both have songs that I know from 3rd Mix, so they don't feel completely alien to me. And for some reason I can almost complete Dead End on Maniac O.o
    Paranoia Rebirth, however, is a completely different story. And don't even get me started on MAX300, if ErMaC did that song on Maniac he's got all kinds of respect from me for it. ^_^

    And my final bit of news for the day: My girlfriend and I broke up last night. It wasn't because of some problem or anyone cheating on someone else, or anyone being mad. It's just because we hardly ever get to see each other because of our schedules. We used to get to see each other once a month, maaaaybe, and even those visits have gotten further and further apart.
    Oh well, that's life I suppose. And we're still friends, so it's all good.

    I think I'm gonna fly solo for a while, at least until all the actvity in my life settles down a bit (Read=when I transfer to Rutgers in the spring).

    Well, that's about all for me, I think I'm gonna work on my video, which is coming along well. Only 4 days left before the CSUN deadline. Well technically 5, but I'm not turning it in on the last day if I can help it. Even if I don't finish it in time for CSUN I'm still going to finish it and put it up online. And after that video is completed I plan on making a trailer to a not-much-seen movie, and then I'm gonna start actually editing for the NESProject ^_^

  • Add-on to last entry 2002-11-02 22:14:07 I also forgot to mention how DDR is indeed a way to impress chicks. That's not why I do it, I do it because I enjoy it and it's fun. But nonetheless I did end up talking to a girl today for a while after I finished a game.

    And don't even get me started on the really hot chick and her friend who were shadowing me when I was doing SSR. Only one word can accurately describe them: bouncy.

    God that made me sound so shallow. Oh well, I'm allowed be a typical guy every once in a while. =P
