  • Brace yourselves... 2002-10-10 21:57:24 AHHH, I BEAT AFRONOVA RE-VENGE TODAY WHEN I WAS PLAYING DDR!!! I'M SO FUGGIN HAPPY!!!

    ...ahem, ok I'm finished. But I was quite excited when I pulled it off. I've been working on trying to get into the 'marvelous' levels and beating Afronova made me feel like I'd really gotten somewhere in DDR. It made my day.

    In other news:

    Today I had quite a good download day. I got 7 videos and good bit of the tracks on the NESProject (I'm really digging the Zanac Space Dance OCR Mix at this point. And I haven't heard anyone else express an interest in doing a video to it. Maybe it'll be my in-roads to being on the project ^_^)
    Among the vids I got was 'The Quest for Dokinium', which was absolutely hilarious. I watched it like three times and laughed all the way through every time. It was great, I didn't know dok1dok1 was that funny. I'm gonna have to check out some of his other videos when I get the chance.

    I also finished watching the Getter Robo series today. By the time it was over I understood everything, and the ending wasn't bad. There were some things that seemed to just happen at random in the show though, but considering it was at heart just an action series I didn't mind much.

    And tonight I hope to get started with my Metropolis AMV. It'll probably be the only time I'll get to work on it for a while. But I'm feeling inspired, so I'm gonna stat anyway.

    Well, that's about it for me.

  • Nothing special today... 2002-10-06 21:50:00 I went to the arcade today and played DDR (3rd mix, it's all they have :( ) for two hours. I'm getting lots better, I'm working my way into songs like Boom Boom Dollar and Afronova Revenge. Note the word working, I still haven't managed to get through Afronova yet >_<

    But other than that I have only one thing to say...

    God my legs are sore! 
  • :O 2002-10-02 22:24:57 I just had an extremely wrong video idea come to me today. I take back what I said about not making any more vids till I get a bigger harddrive-I have enough space to do this one. Now all I have to do is find the album with the song...

    and get by all the work I have to do in the next two weeks >_<;;

    Oh well, looks like I won't be getting to it until after my school work subsides. 
  • >_< 2002-10-01 18:33:09 That's it! I am now making it my God-sent mission to go some anime cons next year, especially AWA. Hearing about all the fun people had and how great it was makes me wish I was there.

    I will be going next year. I'm gonna have to start financing for it now, but dammit, I'm going to be there. :O

    Yes, it was done in WMM, and it's DBZ (no Linkin Park!), but give it a shot. It's not like it'll kill you... (I hope O.o)

    In other news: Got EoE and Hellsing vol. 2 earlier this week. Watched Hellsing and enjoyed it thoroughly. It picks up quite a bit action-wise from the first volume. I wish the DVDs came with more than 3 episodes each. I must be getting spoiled after Excel Saga (5 episodes on the first DVD, 4 on the second). Haven't watched EoE yet, I'll probably get around to that tomorrow.
    For now I'm gonna hit the shower, and then the forums.
