To Kai (re: Wheel of Time) 2003-05-20 11:50:36 Wow, I thought I was the only person noticing that.
I started reading the tenth book only because, the last time I heard, the tenth book was supposed to be the last in the series. Apparently not, because I'm 400 pages into the book and almost nothing has happened. I don't even have a clue what's going on with Rand, aside from what already took place at the end of book 9.

It's ridiculous. I think it's a combination of Jordan having no direction with his story, and him trying to milk it for all it's worth. I'll bet at this point HE doesn't know how he's going to end the story.

Much too bad, much too bad...

Oh and did you see how they recently split up the first book in the series into two different mini-novels? Oy -_-;;

I'm glad I just check out his books from the library, I feel really sorry for anyone (read: any sucker) who's actually buying them all.
