  • Um..Did i for get to mention something? 2002-05-20 20:29:56 Thanks to the deadline extentions for the AMV contest I make it in time! Only thing I don't feel that I succeded in was my goal to make it more funny than the last AMV. This one is worth a giggle, maybe more if you've seen the series. After I sent the video I figured out why it wasn't as funny as I'd hoped. The first video was the action/comedy Trigun done to the already hysterical Weird Al's Trigger Happy. They complemented each other very well. This time the anime was funny, but not so much action. Also the music wasn't particularly funny either, just entertaining. The themes complimented each other and there are a lot of jokes. SO I hope everyone enjoys it!

  • Grab'n Toss, aka iMac 2002-04-04 23:48:07 Well if it wasn't on prob it was another with the iMac. The video looks great on it, but I couldn't get anything captured through the fire wire. Just wouldn't recognize my DVD player. So instead of wasting my last month before Animazement's deadline, I've gotten my desktop reasonable fixed. At least enough so that I can capture the video. For Editing, I'm using Adobe Premiere. For some odd reason it keeps crashing and if don't save after every edit I can't get anywhere. Maybe it just doesn’t like Chibi-usa (my laptop). Don't be mistaken though, she's on fast bunny! AND it's very rare she crashes with any other program. She probably could do with some more memory...but I digress.

    I'll keep you updated as to weather or not I make the deadline. ^-^;;
     
  • The Cycle Begins Again... 2002-03-06 12:28:50 I've started working on my next AMV. All I'll say about it them is it centers around Ataru (from Lum) and his many loves. Currently my PC for capturing video can't pull juice till I get a new power supply, so I’ve enlisted an iMac from one of my teachers to capture and edit the vid. This should prove to be an experience since I’ve never really played with iMacs. ^-^;;

    This AMV is set to premier at Animazement in Durham, NC this May on the 24 & 25. I just hope I can login enough hours on this vid to make it truly fantastic. It’s going to have a bit of lip sync that I’m going to work at perfecting, but sometimes the quality is up the machine.
