that faye wong song on the final fantasy ost is a bad idea in my opinion. a-kun explained there's a video behind it, but i don't care. it's sooo cheesy. just as cheesy as that gackt song, another world? crap i don't remember.
yei's friend came to the house yesterday and i spent most of that time working on a project. i had to call suki and talk things over with her, but i was stuck, and she said she'd help me with it. which is a good sign, i know she's still stoked from the screening. i can't be alone in a project of this size. but we had a long conversation on relationships and heartbreak. i don't know why this came up, it's pretty removed from my situation with yei. we had an interesting conversation nonetheless.

hey 3 days until AE! woo hooo...
i'm gonna try to hook up a-kun or stibo with a cosplay girl. i seem to be the only one with game in the group. the trick is to find someone OVER 18, 21 preferred. trying to make this a jail free weekend.
i'd like to go shopping. i haven't done it and i usually do it once per season. seems like i have enough clothes in my closet though. i haven't used the two dressy sisley jackets i got last season. eep. but i'd like a new hat because i plan on going to a hip hop club monday. that's right. niro does know how to dance.
had a frappuccino. yes, it goes against my no sugar during the week. but i didn't tell you i've loosened up for just once a week now for drinks only. i still have no craving for sugar otherwise.

last night i couldn't sleep, so yei and i stayed up and watched moll flanders. it was pretty depressing for me even though it had a happy ending. there was something about it that bothered me. it was good in a sense that you saw a working class woman make it using her wits, but at the same time, you realize how awful it really was back then in the 1800's. people were mostly disgusting and sickness was too common. humans were so weak minded and raw with emotion. stockard channing had the most dispicable character. ew.
i've been writing again. i stopped for awhile because i had no motivation. but i found it this weekend in the strangest of places.

i'm listening to kiera knightley radio at radio mtv. she has good taste in music. i'm trying to figure if they set it up based on bands she actually likes or just the genre. she likes brit rock, as much as i could tell. like i said, good taste.
echobelly is back! i love this band.
i could give you the rundown of this weekend, but here's the gist of it-i went to dyke march, frameline's film fest and pride. my film got a good response and i'm happy. suki got stopped by older women at the march and they congratulated her. she told them i directed the film and they shook my hand. i was really surprised and elated by this. my film and along with a friends film were the only good ones in the program so they say, suki and yei.
saw people i usually don't see and probably would only see at such events. i'm okay with that.
what's next? anime expo. we FINALLY got a hotel so we'll be at the best western. we will be arriving really, really early in the morning. i just got my refund/discount for the passes. how exciting
i'm all about the four day weekend. i just need to get my sh-t together before then. at work and home. - this way 2004-06-26 17:30:30 i'm on my way out. have to go do some political stuff. i'm hungry as hell, and my sugar level is sucking big time. still trying to make plans for a-e. i want things to work out, but looks like everything is against us at this point. which sucks because i bought the tickets. if only we could get the hotel thing in line.
