i can sense it...
i need to make this short but i went out last night, which is a big deal to me. first i went to pick up some gear at ttv, to a-chan. he gave me some flash drives, new dvd-rom, and other hardware. i'm gonna get my ebay on. then we went to get boba tea before i dropped him off. went to see a movie at the herbst. can't say that i liked it. yei and i got into a little debate on how snobby i can be towards movies. the conclusion is she hates going to festivals with me. the thing is, it's not so much the technicalities so much as the story execution that i didn't like. then she took jabs with me on my film. i already knew the problems with my film, which wasn't even the point. but that was low on her part. we decided to skip mae's birthday shin dig and get yei a burrito in the mission. i guess since yei's been doing yoga, recently broke up with her girl, lost lots of weight, moved back into sf, she's been letting a lot of things go. which is good because our little skirmish happened over a year ago. last year at the festival she could barely stand to talk to me without angst. tehehe. if mae ever did cosplay she could look like haruko dead on, with little effort. which is demented now that i think about it, because i actually like haruko and yet has to be said about mae(so nevermind).
but i'm not going to watch anymore movies this festival. i'm over it. i need to work on projects, and kill this anime otaku in me real quick and get to business. today is gonna be a long one. -

i'm really trying to figure stuff out with this whole a-e thing. just trying to find out about the vouchers took about a half hour of searching through the sites, and forums. apparently they update everything there. they seem to have too much going on. they haven't even updated the semi-finalists for comedy amvs and it's been three days.

I just read anime jedi’s journal and I thought that was cool that he wrote an essay on people living during the night or something like that. I did that for a very long time. I really hated dealing with people who lived by the day, and had a particular irritation to the sun. so I made it a point to work on at swing/graveyard and/or take classes at night. I was a rave/club goer so it made even more sense to me and I even was a street team promoter for bands/clubs, not bad money. Better than working behind a counter at a retail store.
With anime-expo coming up really soon I have to make the decision to go. A-chan and I may very well go. We talked about it, but I just found out there’s an early time frame to pick up vouchers for the amv contest. Fcuk! i need to wake him up now
Got the noir and flcl ost. Did I mention that already?
