so... i went to pick up my festival pack and goodie bag yesterday with yei and they didn't have our badges because there was something wrong with the process...blah blah. ran into nako too, so she got to meet yei finally. got a can o champagne, pens, lube and other stuff in the goodie bag. we also got passes for the opening and gala so we cancelled plans and went. i didn't have anything decent to wear so we bought outfits at buffalo exchange on polk. i called suki and she came. the movie we saw at the opening was touch of pink. it was funny, the director and cast was there. suki saw the lead who was in east is east pass her by in the lobby. we gushed over him for a sec, because he's cute. we hopped on the free muni and headed to the gala. met some kids from berkeley, boys who were cruising the floor like no ones business. i got sushi, indian food and absolut love(a special cocktail from the open bar, absolut*lush*). yei and suki horded over the gourmet dessert bar. i stayed away due to my low sugar diet. didn't feel guilty at all.
we didn't stay too long because yei and i had to catch the bart back before it closed. i'm glad suki was there. she seemed to enjoy star spotting and never been to the gala. while i on the other hand enjoy free drinks and food.
so sat we'll be seeing films our friends made and possibly drinkin it up. i have to remember that i have plans with al. can't miss that boba tea.
i just have to point out that yei was making a small fuss over me paying attention only to suki during the show. yes, even at my age you can get jealous s.o.'s. i had to note she was going to invite mae without thinking about how mae had a problem with me last year at the festival, and how things aren't resolved between us, on account of her stupidity. well, it's really more than that.

why, why is today so long? go faster!
okay....had lunch with nako it was fun. i like getting know people, it's very rare i meet new people these days, and i like long conversations about everything. i had to explain that yei was my gf. she didn't get the connection because i didn't say it outright. so i apologized but i said that i don't usually introduce yei at all as my gf because it's just not professional, and the association as someone's gf becomes a problem when they become the ex, as i've been in that position and lose friends for that reason, etc. so yeah, she understood though.
she was interesting in seeing my writing so i'm going to search through my stuff tonight, also for suki. oops, i should get going soon because i have to meet yei in about an hour. -

i'm going to start on another amv. i was thinking about all night last night, and it's almost consuming me. so i will be starting from scratch this time with a girl doing vocals.
it's definitely the last thing i should be doing, but i have a plan now, so it won't be completely let's go with the motions deal.
by the way i wish someone told me that mezzo oav was psuedo hentai. that was so misleading and unexpected. *blushes*
i'm starting to get back into music. for awhile i really had bitterness. but i'm over it, so i'm back again. trying not to get so serious over it, because i can't enjoy myself if i do.
having lunch with nako today, but i don't think we'll be eating in metreon's park like i suggested. hmmm, decisions decisions. have to go to 9th to pick up my fest guest pack too. eep. -
