so beastie boys are going to make a come back, like captain herlock. no he won't end up being as she as the new name suggests. lord knows why they changed it.
my pal m is working as a video editor at EA now which is interesting consdering that i remember that job posted but i didn't go for it. i'm not sure i have a future as an editor. i have two jobs where i work for someone and as an editor you still partly do that editing. a real editor co-ordinates with the director, but ultimately you don't have the final say and i have this thing where i need full creative control. thank you.
spending the whole day with al was interesting saturday. i never do that with friends anymore. it's practically unheard of. my friend s invited me to go with her to l.a. next week. i can't really take anymore days off.
let's see if i get any of the amv done tonight. i'd like to get it out. -

i meant to say i was glad i wasn't working. tonight i am going to put up my bebop scroll, clean my car and take the dogs for a nice walk. i'm expecting my cels sometime soon.
last night i went out and got a digital camera. there's a sale going on at bestbuy and circuitcity for a fuji and kodak at the same price. but the kodak at cc comes with a starter kit. i didn't get mine at pick up so i emailed them about it. hopefully i can still get it.
took pictures this morning while carpooling of the red structures on the side of the bay bridge. they are pretty amazing to me, not because they're red. i'm going to use them in a project i'm working on. it's an industrial theme. not very original, but i'm trying to find a way to make them look less cold.

i saw mean girls yesterday. it was a last minute thing because gf and i forgot to get the address for the bbq we were supposed to go to. so movie and gelato instead. it was funny, tina fey is pretty hilarious. i cleaned my bedroom out like crazy last night too(but i'm only partly through, next are the shelves, desk and closet). we were basically infested with moths. or rather we were in a moth's nest. it was pretty DISGUSTING. but considering we haven't kept hte bedroom too clean since we moved in (two yers this month) it was about due. i'd like to find another place to live. with that said, i think i'll go looking craigslist
this weekend was pretty busy but i'm glad i was working. -

last night i did a really horrible thing and accidentally locked my little dog papanu(he was orignally named papalu after an ewok) in the backyard. he's a chocolate brown pom with the biggest heart. before, he used to run in between the bricks and run out into the street. but last night i was pretty grateful he just stayed there and waited for me to wonder where he was. it took me about ten mintues because i was busy dumping things and cleaning. then i noticed he wasn't following me around. i originally opened the door to put the mop and bucket away. i guess he snuck by without me noticing. I'M SO GLAD HE STAYED PUT. i got up twice before i went to bed to make sure he was really in his crate. so glad.
i went to wondercon saturday and sat through the different promos, panels and anime shows, besides walking arond and bumping into shock troopers. oh my god! cosplay is crazy. double cosplay is crazier. there was this shock trooper who had this elvis thing going on. i was speechless.
got some robotech, bebop and gift stuff. free swag-shrek stickers, i, robot shirt, and spiderman hat. al almost got swindled by this guy who was trying to sell a rick hunter veritiech masterpiece for 45 but it had finger prints on it, so it had already been opened. crock! watched the live action GTO movie.....snore......
no one was selling cels except this one booth but they were cartoon network cels and more than a 100 a pop. no thanks.

so i haven't seen my banners of daphne up that i sent in. what's up with that? i know they aren't sugary innocent girls, but....that's unfortunate is all i can say.
this morning as i was driving to BART i heard an ad on live105 for wondercon. which reminded me even more since i woke up and was trying to plan to meet with gf after it in the evening. i want to stay for the whole day because i want to step out of the real world as al said and step into animedom, cosplaydom and whatever dom there might be to discover there...ehhehe.
it's funny, i haven't felt this excited to go to anything since i was a teenager going to knott's berry farm stoned with my bestfriend ame.
i watched bebop last night but it was a rerun. was reading res yesterday and got inspired to do an art video. fun stuff
