i'm in l.a. trying to get my life back. slooowww going.
as far as anime amv. . . i watched the rest of rahxephon. sometimes i wish i didn't see the ending. lack luster in my opinion. right now, i'm on the kiddy grade track. it's funny. i tried watching scrapped prinjcess. i think i'll just go on with ...witch hunter robin, full metal panic! and stratos4 before i go back to that. also stellvia because i was reading about it in new type. fun fun anime fun. considering i don't have good internet speed right now, i can't dl, go online OR work. sigh.
i do miss s.f. but hey, it's good to be in different places sometimes. -

sometimes it's pretty interesting, but other times, i cringe. i understand that people write what they want on their journal, whatever it takes to blow off steam. but some people really are so ridiculously honest/arrogant/cute/pathetic/all of the above and more it's hilarious. ..so on that note...
mtvvma had to move to to miami because of the NRC. NYC's anime convention had to be cancelled because of it. you know cosplayers are a threat to homeland sercuirty, don't you? hehe, can you imagine? yeah, those chibi cosplayers are really terrorists. . .
it's amazing how there was more people, 100,000+ that turned out to protest against the Republicans than the democrats at theirs in MA. And leave to the Republicans to say that they are nothing more than extremists. um, they are people...how could you ignore 100,00 people against you? something's gotta give, george. and soon.
although i must say it was very interesting that they slid down the <--truth / bush--> banner during the convention. very interesting.
i wish utada would come out with the new album already. damn, girl. oh well, i have DAI to keep me company... -

AMV update-
So far I have 2:30-ish of the 3:00+ song laid out. I'm trying to work on the transitioning of shots and underlying theme as well. the first 30sec is pretty much where I want it at, so I won't be tinkering with it for awhile and move on to the holes that need plugging.
there are three characters to my video I use and there is definitely a triangle of sorts. It's action, but I think this can fit in the drama/romance category as well. hehe
I think the obstacle I'm trying to overcome is incorporating the style of my intro to sort of have consistancy with the rest of the piece. I just need to pull out clips and revise once I lay down a full base for tinkering. - hikari 2004-08-24 01:46:18 started on an amv again, spent a good portion of the weekend looking at footage, composing etc. good stuff. can't wait till it gets done, but that probably won't be for another month or so.
