- tonight 2004-03-12 02:14:26 so i went to that thing tonight and it was interesting to say the least. we talked about qgirl film, then girls, then other stuff like my college. it was interesting. this girl drove me home and we talked about religion. now, if you know me, i hate the topice, but considering she was really sweet adn was driving back to berkeley, i had to ask. and we had a nice conversation. now i'm tired and i'm going to watch some music video so i can score on fmtIV

it's weird that the skins turn on and off selectively. anyway, today i'm meeting susan again to go to a queer girl filmmaker meeting. should be interesting, i've never been to one. I figure I need to be more active, and this is the most comfortable way. they are going to watch high art tonight, but i'll pass, seesing as i can't watch drug movies and more than three in a week. it's overload.
i'm pretty fuckin tired.

yesterday i hung out with melissa. had mel's diner (ewe) and watched 50 first dates. can't say that i really liked it, but it was interesting. a little sad too. the credits were really interesting because it had the kind of thing like the last lords with artwork to emphasize the story.
i watched a dub of my film. the damage is still there but whatever, i'm shipping it out to the following gl fests-barcelona, berlin, hartford, milan, l.a. portland, seattle. not to mention the cast and crew. i decided to ditch the whole website idea and just work on getting the dvd's out. and that's IT! i'm through with this film.
i'll be shipping all that crap out next monday. i gotta get together te cd's for stills and press kit. blah blah blah.

yesterday it was so hot in sf and bay. it still is but i'm glad i'm inside today, but not too glad working. well, i need to work at this point.
I got my dubs yesterday and need to watch it before I send it out. 50 dubs plus two masters = 250 bucks worth of payback. that should be the least of my worries but i dipped into my moving fund. not too happy about that.
i talked with s yesterday and she told me her high school experiences, which i thought was interesting to say the least. it's all helping me with my writing as i've come to a block in this new script i'm developing
i won't be able to watch any MVs today because i'm having dinner with my friend from college. shes an editor and her boyfriend is a super editor at tech. i'm completely proud of her, she got into it right out of college. i'm still swinging from job to job, and not as lucky. but i'm sure we'll catch up on stuff, it'll be fun
- 15 2004-03-09 12:14:39 last night i wastched 15 at the sf asian film festival. it w as good cinematically, but the story was oddly disturbing. i liked it, but i had to watch some comedy after so i wouldn't feel depressed.
