I keep forgetting to update this thing

Well I haven't had much to report but I felt like updating anyway:
I'm probably going to give AMV making a rest ... WHAT??? You say. No it's not permanent and I didn't say I was going to give video editing a rest, just AMV making. Anime just isn't having the pull on me that it used to any more, my sudden "great movie" watching spree shows that it isn't all about anime. I have been pondering and I will have the two videos listed ready for AWA which is basically my only AMV goal at the moment, since that's almost a year away you do the math.
I will continue video editing: What? Well I'm going to make a fight club music video, for which I have some great ideas and which may appeal a little more to my friends and such not making me the obscure guy watching japanese cartoons anymore.
I'm also pondering (pondering being the operative word) making a short movie called "Monotony", the idea: The boring predictability of an average (bussinesman's) life and someone who tries to change it, I have some really great ideas for this so this could be reality, I'm brainstorming at the moment.

My god everytime I review a video I overdo myself and spend more time doing it then the review before ... I redid my review to "My iron lung" by Hsien Lee and did 3000 words, that's just stupid! What am I doing?
On Technoshock related news:
- I enetered the CSUN contest and made the finals! Yay, the first contest this video is being taken seriously (excluding AWA). The whole event is being taped so I'm actually getting to see the crowd reaction! ^^
- I showed it to my friends, they loved it ^^
- I'm really awaiting MJ's RVP review on the 21st, there's some really stiff competition (Appetite for dynamite, natural born killers, alternate reality, truth about totoro(!)) so it'll be near impossible to be in that list, I'm curious what MJ picks though...
A new video editing project is pending on money I don't have it so I can't buy source footage, easy as pie... -

I got this fan project that basically adds a whole Wing commander 1 atmposhere and a lot of new missions to Wing commander secret ops. I'm stuck in level 2 on the easiest level! LEVEL 2 FOR &$#( SAKE!!! You can also get this game via www.wcnews.com somewhere.
I also re-did my review to "This is DBZ life" I kind of overdid it with 2500 words ... oh well, I love that video! - 2002-11-05 16:27:53 *imagine random journal crap here* and ... congrats MJ happy 27th birthday! ^_^

Despite the destructive mood I was in this morning everything has turned out well and I decided to go do some constructive AMV stuff instead. Apparently at the AYA contest the judges picked 4 finalists so I was basically ruled out by the judges ... fair enough my video isn't everyones piece of cake, I would like to see what I lost to though ... I hear a certain mister Turboneko has something to do with it though.
A good thing is that I recieved the MPEG2 of "Right now" from Tim Park and a compilation DVD by Brad DeMoss, I put Right now on my HDD and am still trying to rip "Episode 1 trailer" but my DVD player is crapping out -_-. Special thanks to both of these guys for brightening up my day.
The next good thing was the review for my video "Technoshock" by Nitro sama which was really complimentitive, which is nice.
Then there's a reaction by Beowulf to my review of his video, "Thanks for the novel you wrote" lol, I'm glad he liked it.
So I decided to do something back and write my review for "Eva man" by YCSTR massive 1800 word review @.@ which put me in the top 20 most usefull repliers (as far as numbers tell how useful someone is, some people can say more with 10 words then others can say with 100). Then I noticed some of the reviews I posted looked like crap compared to what I write today, I looked them up and almost cried. So I will be redoing reviews for these 5 lucky people:
- Scott Melzer : This is your life (I just saw fight club so that makes it a little more attractive to redo this review)
- Hsien Lee: My iron lung (scandalous piece of crap I wrote up for that)
- NeoGohan: Cure for the itch (the current review is really not helpfull at all)
- Akashio: Tiny tike smackdown (again not informative)
- Hitori: The life that is Misato (a little bit informative but too short, I'll lengthen this a bit)
Consider this me doing something back.
