Well I didn't win anything in the spPanda contest, and eventhough I didn't expect to I still feel a little dissapointed. Oh well I guess as long as the judges liked it or even watched it it's ok. It's ironic that I lost to Kaston who I know from way back when I was reviewing DBZ vids and he was making them. Congrats man ^_^.
I also accidentaly spilled some info on my "wrong", I didn't mean to but well bla. I'll try to finish it over the weekend and all.
Work is also draining me, you try to stay awake when your running queries which take atleast 10 minutes a pop for 3 hours straight @.@ - All work no play 2002-09-17 17:28:37 All work no play makes Paul a dull boy ... xp, 3 more days to go till weekend. Anyway the spPanda results should be in tommorow, wonder how I did. Also cudos to Red Wolf for his AWA cd, has some great creators on it (not me I suck)... nothing much to report...

Tired beyond my mind

9 to 5 days are not my peice of cake, I'm xhausted after one day -_-. The people I worked with are really nice people though, that's a good thing, I'm still suprised at the huge amount of excel handling which is going on in such a big organisation, looks like I have my work cut out for me to automatisize things (which should be no problemsince they actually store evrything in a database, pull it out of the database into excel, copy paste in excel, save the new reports, where's the logic?)
I had like no free time today so I didn't get a lot done, played some monkey island 2 (yeah I finished 1 again, great nostalgia trip, I also saw a lot more jokes then before) and I watched to see if the NTSC MPEG2 was really ok, well eventhough some scenes are shaky it's good ^_^. spPanda results are soon, I wonder if technoshock won anything? Not counting on it... -
A few minor things

Nothing much to report.
I got my burner saturday, so I backed up all the AMV's I had to clear up some HDD space (11 cd's, I now have over 200 AMV's O.O). I've decided to go and review most of the videos I have so if you see a review in your box rejoice ^_^.
Some Technoshock news: I updated the PAL MPEG2 to the AWA FTP (waiting for a official "I got it, it's ok" from Quu before I rejoice) which took 13 hours at 3kb/s @.@, I just went to play soccer (matches like every saturday (which we won with 2-1 BTW)) and left the PC on, it still took forever. I also did the damndest thing, I changed to seetings in premiere and one in the source footage's AVS file and exported and I got a near perfect NTSC version of the video! One or two glitches, which are harldy recognizeable are still in but I'll just leave them in, since this version is meant for only 2 contests... Saves me a lot of editing. The SVCD version of the video is also coming together, I need to touch up my old video to 25fps and encode it to SVCD, Create some menu's and cover art and I'm done, then I'll give out some copies to friends and possibly send a copy to the band members from MUSE (if I can get their damn adress).
The little wrong I promissed has turned into a much more elaborate joke then I was planning to do so it'll be along later. I already managed to make fun of 5 things in the first 10 seconds though :D
Last thing (but definatley not least important), I start my internship tommorow, meaning I'll have very little time for music video stuff :(, I have to start using my time more economically now. My days will look like this from now:
Monday-Friday:
6:30 get up
7:20 go to work
18:30 (if I'm lucky) get home from work
24:00 go to bed
Free time = 5:30 a day, which isn't that bad but a huge cut and I also need to make a lot of reports in that time :/
Saturday:
12-ish: get up
14-ish: go to soccer
19-ish: get home
22-ish: get piss drunk
Free time = alot but I'm not spending it on anything productive...
Sunday:
All day off
Free time = all day but I need to also make reports and I always feel like crap due to the large amount of alcohol still in my blood.
