Technoshock is almost done! (I think I've been saying this everyday during the last 2 weeks though :p). I've written down what is left to be fixed and to be honest the list is rather short. After all that's fixed I'll once again try it on my "test audience" of one and see if he agrees I'm done. Did a substancial amount of tweaking today aswell so if all goes well friday should be d-day for my video (which is good since I start work the week after and I doubt I'll have much time for editing ^_^).
Also did some soccer training today ... 1,5 hours of non-stop running is fucking hard esspecially on the ankle sheehse...
Linkin Park won a VMA for best rock ... this definatley prooves mainstream is a bunch of bollocks, eminem Yeagh.
Also about this "year of crap" thing that some people seem to be complaining about ... how long did it take before you thought several videos were real classics? Think about that one. Also ... don't forget Shameless rock and PFS! ;) -

"Technoshock" is killing my inspirational brain, seriously. I need to tweak a really limited amount of stuff (I've actually come to the point where I like more stuff than I hate), but I just can't get it done. I edit a little, than get distracted and while I'm distracted I decide to render and go do other stuff -_-. Just 2 or 3 days of serious attention should finish the video, but I need to focus, let's hope tommorow offers more. I did edit like 10 seconds today, it looks better than it did before but probably needs more tweaking *sighs*. Anyway I found another contest where I can enter this video into, I don't even have to send it (go digital submissions ^_^)
While I was at it I decided to do some other stuff if I wasn't working on my MV. I made a wallpaper about a MUSE song (EK style except mine looks like crap and her's doesn't) and I uploaded Red & black v1.0 (not sure how to deactivate Red & black(beta) yet though). The beta version had 5 users (excluding myself) so it's starting to build a following ^_^.
While I'm writing, congrats to Mexican Junior for winning 2 awards at AnimeFest!
Currently listening to: Millionaire / Cooper temple clause ... I want to see if I like them, I'll let you know tommorow ^_^. -

Gah, had a lot of booze yesterday that's why there was no update...
What can I say about today? I did some minor editing on my video and straightend several things out and tried some new stuff. About a week of tweaking should finish this baby off, I might even make the spPanda contest deadline (and very very maybe AnimeUSA (even though I'd given up all hope) odds are I won't though). It's looking good for this video, I've showed it to 3 people and they seemed to like it, however only one person has liked the song so far (like I thought) the others complained about a wide variaty of problems ranging from ear disfunctions to melting brains ^_^. I also started stiryboarding the 3 credits scenes and I ripped the footage for the first. It has also come to my attention that Vertigo has nothing to do with insanity but rather with fear of heights(thanks Ian). That doesn't seem like an accurate description. Ian had a nice sounding alternative though "Technoshock" which definatley sounds a lot sharper then "Vertigo" and has a better relation to the videos content. I'll be keeping it as a working title, I'm 99% sure it'll be the end title (though ripping of Muse' expired working title "Action faust" sounds tempting aswell). So after Coup d'etat and Vertigo it's Technoschock now.

More art stuff... there's a banner I submitted for the .org but it hasn't made it to the judging thing yet (come back phade :( ), it's a beeop-banner which is meant to look cool-ish, wonder what you guys think...
As for Red and black ... I'll be putting the finishing touches on that some time next week (it has 5 users now ^_^), be sure to start using it... -

Anyway on to music video news: I finsihed my video (a really crappy beta video) and showed it to Ian (must be weird to read about yourself as my only reader :p) he was very nice and seemed to like my video, he was also very useful with criticsm, I now know what an outsider thinks. I need to improve some stuff I don't like and some stuff he thought was quirky and then check in with my second test subjet. All in all my video seems to be coming along rather well.
W00t soccer tommorow, the season restarts...

No one reads this, I don't care I'll write to myself if need be. The only person who I know to have read this twice is Ian, but whaterver. I'll release these as memoires and people will flock over it ... probably not.
Anyway, video stuff; got 12 more seconds done, most of it was pretty decent. I now have 18 seconds left I'm actually planning on doing it all tommorow, I just need to see if I make it since I've never done as much in a day. After that I'll tweak some until I feel satisfied to some content and then try it on my test audience and then re-tweak and so forth, I'll inform you when it's done.
I also had a conversation with this guy in the AMV chatroom who basically thought that MUSE were pseudo-angsty-radiohead clones. I hate it when people think that. THEY DON"T SOUND ALIKE. Maybe only con science but that's it. So most of their songs contain a piano, Matt likes to "borrow" stuff from calssical music not from radiohead. They weren't inspired by radiohead and don't sound like radiohead for the love of god. *Nervous breakdown*
