JOURNAL: Paul Kievits (Paul Kievits)

  • I don't feel like typing very much... 2002-04-03 14:54:24 ...so I won't. Basically today was way to improductive, I have to make up for that (again) tommorow. I played some pool, won 1, lost 1 ... the 1 I lost was pretty close. I might go through as second in the pool tournament, it's more than I was hoping for ... who knows.
  • Daily nonsense 2002-04-02 15:10:27 Ok here goes the daily rant. I basically did nothing all day (again), I have really got to start getting productive or I'm basically screwed. All I did was buy new soccer shoes and some videos. Besides that I played more Zelda 3 (addictive as hell) and watched the first episode of Kodomo no omocha and the last part of Black heaven. KNO was fast and crazy and bordered digi charat in craziness but left a good first impression. Black heaven (in retrospect) as a series had a corny story which got even cornier and more predictable as it moved along, some of the animation was bad and they kept playing the same song over and over and over again. Yet as I was watching the last part I felt strangely attached and I actually didn't nearly fall asleep (as I tend to do with movies). It left a great impression and I can reccomend it to anyone...
  • And say: "it's the truth" 2002-04-01 14:50:54 Ok now that my usual sunday-depression is over I can get back to regular life. It felt like a vacation day today 18 degrees and only sun. I stood up, got to watch PSV win (4-1) and get back into the title race (2 points from the closest competition now). Then I played some soccer of my own which was really tiring with the heat. I then watched the first half of the cowboy bebop movie, had dinner and watched the rest of the bebop movie ... I'm kinda sad that I've seen it all it was all so great *cries*. To top my bebop day off I downloaded ErMaC's "Life is but a dream" and I must say it's my favorite ErMaC video to date. Why? Simply because he didn't go all crazy with effects and actually had more substance then just intresting overlays and all. After that I went jogging for another 45 minutes (which was really tiring with the still present heat and the soccer match in my legs) so I took a shower and watched a little tv before heading in (in 15 minutes). Thus a very low productivity day (except for the shape of my body ^_^). I have a lot to do so I'll start my busy schedule tommorow ... *sighs*

BTW. I can advise "The code book" by Simon Singh to everyone, very interesting stuff actually...
  • Kan ein herz zerspringen? 2002-03-31 14:36:17 Time for todays daily jibber-jabber. I was gone for the weekend so no updates since friday ... Anyway what was this weekend?

    - Good for PSV the two closest competitioners lost and if they lose tommorow against the third close competietor they'll be back in the race for the championship totally ... last chance tommorow *prays*
    - I watched the last 3 sessions of cowboy bebop and thus the ending and *spoiler* it was the complete opposite of the Trigun ending *spoiler* I liked both anime really much but I think I liked Trigun a tad more, the suprise ending was really good and it was brighter and goofier whereas bebop had the 4 totally different yet interesting characters. I think the goofy scenes of Vash made Trigun a tad more popular for me.
    - I watched "A beautiful mind", it had really good special effects and some real suprises so me likey. There were one or 2 errors in the movie though, and I doubt that pentagon thing really went like that but overall I liked it.
    - coincidentally I saw "The code book" by Simon Singh between my dad's books and decided it's something that would sound interesting to read (I always get influenced by films :P).
    - Soccer went pretty well this weekend we only tied 1-1 though. We were better but we didn't score thats all, well better luck next week.
    - The forum of AMVR is down, I have to look into that.
    - I got AMVR to be W3C CSS and HTML correct, so I can start filling it with content and getting stuff to work now (finally).

    That is all for now...
  • OMG 2002-03-28 15:02:15 I know what I said, but just 3 seconds after I left this site (actually it was the next site I went to), I saw this on GGG:
