After some persuasion I decided to finish my last video after all, I'm actually quite glad with it now :P
It will be released in about 2 weeks.

... (or last year, depending on how you look at it) I quit AMV's. My new video isn't working out for me at all. I've been at it for over a month and now that I look at it, it's pretty much an unsalvagable wreck, nowhere near what I would expect of myself or anything remotely near the quality of what's coming out lately.
I don't really have the spark to continue editing, anime does nothing for me anymore (hasn't for some time now) and everything I have in my head just won't come out like I want it to. I also have no time anymore since I have a full-time job, a girlfriend and a house I need to maintain. All of this together makes it time for me to call it a day.
I wish I'd made more videos when I was still motivated and creative. It was fun while it lasted but now back to real life...
