Well, more editing and I'm getting closer to half done with my new vid.
I'm not gonna get into the low scores talk though. I have learned through many years of playing/writing music that not everyone is going to like what you do.
Here's a request though. Anyone know of a good tutorial for making a vid with cutouts? (Such as suberunker's use of them in Wiz of Ozaka.) basically what tools and how you use them to add moving footage to another piece of moving footage (the only way I can think to do it is frame-by-frame in photoshop but that just seems like a LOT of work). Don't mind my noobishness, this is just my first chance to really delve into AMVs. - Hmm, beta eh? 2006-03-14 19:09:02 Beta maybe. It amazes me how quickly I can get a vid done when I've already mapped out on paper what I want to do with it, heh. In just an hour and a half I've gotten 30 more seconds done. I just finished up the first chorus. Granted I'll be going back through it to clean it up, but the general frame is down, which is cool.

JEA - well, I'm at about the 1 minute mark right now, still editing. I'll make sure to give you a heads up when I finish. With how much I am insane over FMA and since I'm a pretty big hoobastank fan I can't let this one be mediocre, lol.
Jub - heh, I know that well. Con road trips and music road trips have taught me the eccentricity of the artistic which I revel deeply in. ^_^ - with apologies to Jade_Eyed_Angel 2006-03-14 17:25:46 Well, I picked up the hoobastank album "The Reason" in the middle of last year and as I was listening to it track 3 (what happened to us) just hit me like a ton of bricks as the perfect (pardon the pun) song for FMA. That is one of the biggest ideas I've been working out in my mind, waiting for the right equipment and software. Well, now I have it and am working on that vid and I realize that someone else has that same concept put together. Sorry in advanced if it seems like I'm copying your idea, JEA, I'm really not ^_^;;.
- well, crap 2006-03-14 16:31:23 day late and a dollar short then, I guess. Ah well, next one maybe. as it is, I can see myself developing into a JJ, heh.
