  • Its open! 2002-10-22 15:58:53 The man that got me to strat editing AMVs has once again returened to the scene, and I couldnt be happier. Everyone please come visit Lord Rae of the late Otaku Vengeance in his new AMV studios, Phoenix AMV's. Come now and download all you see ^_^

    In other news, Im starting on my newest video. This one is realy gonna be unlike the normal (if you can call it that) HypeOdermic fair, as it is gonna be a somwhat bitter sweet drama. I know Im gonna catch hell from some people, but Im realy inspired to make it. It will be somwhat sad, as my Grandmother just passed away yesterday, and Ive always felt like art is the healthiest way of dealing with emotional turmoil (of any kind). I am however going to try and not go down the blatent tearjerker route, but rather a hopefull/somewhat sad video. Oh well, we will see what we get woth the finished product, as my vids never truely turn out the way they do in my head ^_^

    In good news, my Appetite for Dynamite video is meeting with far better response than I ever though it would. I would like to truely thank everyone who has lent their opinions and wonderfull feedback to it, all of them have been very helpfull and kind. Muchas Gracias ^_^

    Ever since the forums have gone down, I have read nothing (well, almost nothing ^_^ ) but journal entrys stating how people are starting new AMV's or are now hard at work on making current AMV's, far more so than I usualy see.
    Perhaps the hiatus of the forum is a good thing? ^_^ 
  • Is anyone... 2002-10-15 19:17:22 Is anyone else getting alot of emails with 137-155kb viruses from other creators?

    I have gotten a half a dozen from:

    William Millberry
    Hsien Lee
    Sam Buca
    and Vegita for President


    I know its not intentional, you guys (everyone) may want to check there HD for viruses.

    Well...still hard at work on my Nintendo project video, and its coming along nicely. This is my first dance-ish vid, and on top of that, not to a realy "dance video" anime, but hey, I'll (try to) make it work, with the use of horribly tacky yet somwhat liberating effects that only a dance vid set to NES remix songs could get away with ^_^
    I have a feeling this project is going to go places (other than down the drain), people are really getting interested in it. Ahh well, we shall see who is truely interested and who is just somwhat curious when the forums (hoepfully) come back up.
    In the meantime, its back to the editing board for me. ^_^

    BUT, this is a forum 37165 goddamn people!!
    Dont we think we are all just beeing a bit naive to think that out of 37,000 members, we arnt gonna get a handfull of people that enjoy attempting to upset people?! Thats nuts to assume, and as long as there is a forum, there will be these people.

    I completely agree with Millburry, Quu, Akimbo and the rest that some people here suck, but dammit, its an inevitability, any way you slice it. The good however, outwieghs the bad by leaps and bounds. There just isnt any way to compair how much the good outweighs the patches of badness.
    The forum is a powerfull tool that shouldnt be taken down becuase one mamby pamby pre pubecent fuck decided to grow internet balls and be the tough guy he could never hope to be in real life.

    Restricting the forums to creators is a HUGE mistake and taking them down is very unfourtunate.

    This is just my two cents, but I hope you at least think about, from sombody that trys to respect everything and everyone on this forum.
