Amizadai - when you've had enough, you've had enough. This is the lesson I have learned in the last six weeks.
But things can be replaced - your sanity is harder to regain.
Contact your opthomologist (some call them occulists or optometrists) and get a copy of your prescription. If I can't find a replacement in 24 hours, you owe me Pocky.
Your box is still here - I can put it in with. ^^
I had a studio apartment my last year in school that was less than 100 sq ft. I could NOT keep it under control and lost it in much the same way you did. My Mom, Sis and brother-in-law came in, organized and cleaned it up for me while I sat in a heap in the corner. It happens.
I was working two jobs (one of them at night - all night - driving airport shuttle), had no money for food and was down to 95 lbs. Was sick a lot. Had car trouble a lot.
I promised myself that if I finished school, most of that would end. I would be able to live in my little house of dreams, travel and eat three meals a day.
I'm still working on the house of dreams. But the other things did fall into place. You will get through this - it is the magic time, even though it sucks little green rocks for good reason.
And I'm now seriously considering coming by for a hug in September.

All creative functions suspended. I've only got room for carpet fans, dead car batteries, last-minute work projects and where my next meal is coming from.
Will resume normal functions sometime in the future.

EK - hit me, baby.
Ami - I worked a cold into pnemonia and pleurisy when I was in school. And yes, it sounds like a classic flu bug, pity you can't just sit back and coast (which is the only thing you can do).
*Imagine being in a place where they write you off for 10 days when you get sick like this. When you come back, they shake your hand and say "welcome back."*
My first flu bug in Switzerland. Shit you not. I got sick, they SENT ME HOME DON'T COME BACK FOR 10 DAYS home. And all they said when I came back ready to work, hale and healthy...welcome back. We missed you. Shit, they came to my desk to do this - I was totally freaked out.
When I explained what happens in the States, they looked at me kind of like we look at those pictures of starving children *pick your favorite third-world nation* -
Yeah, I got spoiled, real quick.
Self-indulgent video-idea/giggle for the day - Cockroad That Ate Cincinnatti for KoHD....don't kill me.
