Yay for Kenshin!

This past weekend, I visited my friend, Erin, up in Georgetown. 'Twas grand. We saw A LOT of Kenshin (episodes 9-47), Gunsmith Cats, the Cowboy Bebop movie, and three Sailor Moon movies. *tries to think if she's forgetting anything* We saw some of the Golden Globe awards too but that's not anime, and it was kinda boring. ^^;
Anyway, I got really into Kenshin. I didn't own ANY of the series, but today I went out and bought the DVD of Saitoh vs. Kenshin [has my favorite episode]. I like those vicious eyes of the Battousai. They're sexy. I just have this thing for good guys looking evil. I'm silly but honest. ^^; Kenshin himself is sweet and cute, and I like Saitoh...'cause he just kicks ass, what can I say? I'm tempted to make a mini-Battousai site or something! Perhaps a dedication on my small anime site? It just seems like the thing to do.
I got yet another AMV idea today! In addition to the bunch that I have and Erin's ideas. Oh, I can hardly wait 'til I find some means to get Premiere again. My idea's not for Kenshin (though one day I would like to do one as soon as I find the right song) but for Bebop. ^^

Well, I later realized my first entry in my journal was made on my second day and not my first. ^^; Oopsies.
My friend Meri IM'd me the other day to say she'd seen my music video and enjoyed. Yay! And she'd write a review for it. Yay! I haven't seen this review, but Meri's a busy gal. I appreciated that she took the time to tell me she enjoyed the vid. She even mentioned it in her update at ToT. Though it officially premiered New Year's Day on my anime site, I have not been advertising it very much 'cause of bandwidth.
After somewhere over 120 hits, I took down the link for the music video since (a) I was getting closer to the bandwidth limit than I wanted to be and (b) There were no opinions for it. Mainly for (a) though.
Meanwhile, life is very good and happy and la la la since my boyfriend flew down from Nebraska to visit me for a few days. ^___________^ I was scheduled to work Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday while he was here. I've lucked out though. Someone at work offered to cover for me Saturday. Woo-hoo! See, being a nice person does pay off. She's doing it since I've done favors for her in the past. Now I get to spend the weekend with him. - First couple o' days 2002-01-04 11:08:03 Well, today I signed up as a member at amvs.org. I also added my music video in which was kinda nerve-racking since I did not know what kind of traffic that would bring in. My host does give me a bandwidth limit when it comes to such a file. I'm just going to keep a close eye on things and take down the vid if I think I'm getting to close to the limit. In the meantime, I've been browsing around at mostly videos that I've already seen and put in a few reviews. I'm also contemplating what to do now that my Premiere trial has expired and I don't have the money to purchase the program.
